  • I just made one with chocolate whey, heavy cream and almond butter. Very tasty and very filling!

  • just mix milk and protein powder and put in the freezer

  • cheers bud, quite helpful

  • Can someone PLEASE reply the name of the song thankyou!

  • With cream in it do you have to refridgerate it? As a substitute could some raw butter work?

  • Comment removed

  • do you have to leave them in the fridge? or can u wrap it and take it with you for a couple hours with out it melting or sticking to everything

  • i tried this today! very good and simple! thanks for sharing

  • honestly, i think low carb is more important than low fat. your body can deal with the fat, but the carbs gotta be burned right away

  • Ok first of Alll , this protein bar is a inviation for a heart attack , white flour butter and slenda sugar(which has MSG - it won just make u go fat but insane too ) .....just use peanut butter egg , milled oats

    happy days...

  • @legendbigguy. What flour? All he used was was whey protein. Butter is much healthier than any of it's imitators. We need natural saturated fat in our diets. (Check out the work of Weston Price.) Though I completely agree that Splenda is not healthy at all. It's quite close chemically to DDT. I would use Xylitol.

  • this sounds great and I plan on getting ingreds to make my own. Tired of spending money on dr. atkin's bars. Thanks for sharing.

  • HEY! would u like to see one of my homemade recipes for a cheesecake with kesella, cottage cheese etc? Taste wonderful with blueberrys

  • wow cool im tryin 2 luse weight doin the low carb fing but got the worste sweet tooth ever so shud i make a few of them n hv like 1/2 a day as a treat or wud that stil make me fat lol any help plz

  • i hardly eat during the day, mainly because im a student at uni and cant find the time or effort and iv recently started doing competitive swimming to tone up my body and gain some muscle, im not that skinny, 69kg 1.78cm but i want to start gaining weight so muscles can be visable.... so my question is, should i make these protein bars and eat after i swim, because i already take creatine after i swim so could i eat this "bar" ?? hope to hear an asnwer! thank you

  • Great job!!!

  • Thanks brother.. Taste great..

  • i have question to people how maked this bar. Is he tasty?

  • Looks amazing, plus it's got some great nutritional value. Thanks for the upload.

  • good video but do you have the english units? It looks liek 1:1 nut butter to protein and then wahtever cream. Thenut butter is heavier so it weigh more

  • @naitodetsu I was wondering this same thing.

  • i just made this... but i added less 10 grams of peanut butter to fit my macros...

I havent tasted it yet but it looks good but even though its not sticky theres a problem... its very creamy...

I can shape it into a bar but if i wanted to take it with me to college i just couldnt since its still pretty liquid...

Any idea how i can make them dryer and therefore be able to pack them?

  • @graffiti36 More protein power

  • @graffiti36 I was wondering if you are stillmaking these and if you learned who to make them more 'dry'.

I am going to try this recipe but there is no way I am using heavy cream. I am thinking maybe almond milk, then push them into a dehydrator for a day or so. then maybe they would be portable and would not spoil in my gym bag that day because the dairy has been removed. what u think>?

  • @kingorbit I did this recipe, but I used milk because I had no heavy cream. Mine came out way to wet... so I thought I would microwave it for a minute... it works! It makes it into a cake... try it.

  • will there be side effect if i put creamy peanut butter with it instead of all natural??

  • Excellent!

  • What's the fat content in this thing? Heavy Cream and hazelnut butter...?

  • is there some way to buy whey protein pure? from the source and not through some post manufacturer?

  • Whoa! Just what I was looking for!! Thank you!

  • awesome. Thank you

  • yesterday you inspired me to go and buy all the ingredients, today I made these bars, tasted them and they were awesome!!! now I got a great snack that not only is healthy, it also helps me avoid snickers!! yummy!! now gotta hit the gym harder!!

  • @nihilas1988 its pussy

  • Double cream! are you mad!?

  • All of you just eat my Fat and low carb D***

  • Comment removed

  • to clarify for all the misinformed ppl here, yes there are good fats and bad fats, unsaturated fats (polyunsaturated and monounsaturated) ARE good for you but ONLY in moderation, obviously they are much healthier than saturated and trans fats (artery clogging) but that doesnt mean u can drink an entire bottle of sunflower oil! too much of anything is bad!

  • interesting stuff you are the cooliest!!!

add some honey and nutts its gona be madd shit daymmm

  • Eat more fat. It's the way to go.

  • @moltar2000 Keto all the way bro x

  • nice looks gd ! ill try it !

  • Can this be made to hold together some how so I could take it to school?

  • will the fats which is from the nut butter seperate from the bar?

  • you might not want to drink shake every freaken day and meal. That's why

  • no its dumb to not try to be creative with recipes and actually cook... duh!

  • This is a stupid recipe. This is full of fat which no matter which way you think of it is not good for you.

  • If you were stuck on an island and could only choose one food what would it be?

    Fat or Carbs?

Fat will make you go the distance.

    I think you have a fat-phobia.

this is vital to our existence and good health

  • But we're not stuck on an island are we...

Yes fats provide more energy per gram, but in modern society we do not go without food, excess fats will clog your arteries and envelop your organs. It is very easy indeed to consume too much fat. Carbohydrates are a far superior source of energy, they are the preferred energy source of the body anyway. You shouldn't cut carbohydrates out of your diet you should be cutting out fats.

  • what is at the bottom of the food pyramid of death? refined flours, breads, pastas, rice. we never had heart disease before low-fat craze 40 years ago. the notion that fat clogs arteries is based on false claims that the agricultural industry wants u to believe.

Our bodies are designe to eat nuts, seeds, animal fat, avocadoes, meat and vegetables and fruits. the only carbs a person gets should primarily be from those food groups. thats ok, you keep your diet, i'll keep mine

  • Of course, refined flours and pasta are to blame for the epidemic of obesity throughout America, not McDonalds with their burgers dripping with saturated fats, or Mars forcing chocolate down your throat. Causes of heart disease; cholesterol deposits on the coronary arteries from high amounts of saturated fats. I'm not denying that fats are needed to be healthy, but you don't need alot of them either.

  • @MrSmudger687 It is not stupid at all. High fat and protein/low carb is a specialized diet, like for athletes who cycle ketogenic periods. This really isn't for an average run-of-the-mill maintenance diet (get regular protein bars for that), and will probably do more harm than good for someone who is inactive.

  • @MrSmudger687 We evolved to eat fats. Agriculture is new (from the evolutionary perspective). Wheat, corn, oats, etc are basically grasses - which we are not equipped to process fully. For example, gluten is a low level inflammatory compound for most consumers. Some are very allergic to it. This is a plant's defense mechanism which has not been fully bred out of them. Nobody has meat allergies. Fatty meat has all we need to live and grow and does not add fat or spike insulin

  • @12345678tube - We also evolved to eat carbohydrates, which as I've said before, are the preferred energy source for the body. Fatty meat is full of saturated fat. Saturated fat is one of the main causes of increased LDL cholesterol. As for your comment on insulin spiking, this is true, but ultimately something that you need not worry about unless you are overweight or diabetic.

  • @MrSmudger687 No, we didnt. Where were the carbs while we evolved? Fruit was not so common and is not caloric enough to live on. Honey is rare. Wheat flower did not exist. Corn didn't either.

Cholesterol becomes a problem when it is "sticky". VLDL, the worst form of cholesterol, is caused when cholesterol and high blood sugar are present. Gary Taubes wrote a great book and gives several speeches on youtube about the subject. His work is very well researched. Check it out.

  • too much fat will clog arteries. Look at super obese people, need bipass surgeries due to clogged arteries.

  • You sir, are very ill informed.

  • Ok, please tell me why. This isn't intended to sound- in-your-face, but why is a high fat diet not detrimental to your health?

  • Hey moron, there is good fat and there is bad fat.

    This is good fat.

    Don't talk outta your ass.

  • I shall assume you refer to unsaturated fats when you talk of "good fats". Well if this were the case, why not drink a bottle of sunflower oil? That has a high percentage of unsaturated fat? In fact, why not eat deep fried chicken breasts every day? Chicken is lean meat, and sunflower oil is "good fat"...Am I correct? Don't be an idiot, ask any doctor if they think a high fat diet is healthy, I guarantee they will tell you to substitute complex carbohydrates instead.

  • good fats are omega 3's 6's 7's and 9's you moron.

  • @FlinstoneX Hey moron, omega fatty acids ARE UNSATURATED FATS. Try researching something before you open your mouth in future.

  • Does it have to be eaten in a matter of 20 minutes?

  • Splenda has sucralose, not aspertame.

Whereas aspertame has been found to be cancer causing, sucralose hasn't.

  • Splenda causes brain damage and cancer!! Check it out on the internet! All that man made crap is garbage!

  • AMEN. Live naturally, eat real unprocessed sugar! (Just don't over do it!)

  • repped and subbed

  • wtf is up with you all using splenda SHIT

  • Splenda contains less than 1g of carbohydrates unlike normal sugar or juice etc.

  • And the sweetener in Splenda (Aspartame), is poisoning your body...

  • No its not. It like anything, to much yes, in moderation no. Do you have any credible evidence it is?

  • I've done quite a lot of research on it.

From what I can remember, it's made of three amino acids broken down. It contains Methenol, and some other toxic, horrible man-made substances...

I've not heard one good thing about Aspartame, not one.

In a study, one of two groups of lab mice were fed aspartame regularly. They ended up getting brain tumors, and the female mice had reproductive problems.

They've also found human babies given aspartame are prone to seizures...

    I just don't trust it.

  • I could be a little off on some of what I've said, especially with the amino acids part. Aspartame is a suprisingly complex ingrediant.

Of course, anything in moderation is okay...I still have a diet soda once in a while (Aspartame).

I just don't trust the stuff. It's a horrible, man-made substance that cannot be trusted.

Back in the 80's when it was distributed, there was so much controversy surrounding it, because of the lab mice testing resuls with Aspartame being so negative.

  • Interesting information. It's nice to see someone with actually credible knowledge. However I believe you may be mistaken. See the question is; "How much where the rats fed?"

Believe me I have no dought that Splenda is not at all "good" for you, but it can't be much worse than normal refined sugar in regards to side effects. It's really the quantity that matters. Remember, too much salt, or Vitamin B etc can have adverse affects too.

  • If you're at all interested refer to the article title:

"The Truth About Sucralose" located at TNation (I can't directly post the link due to YouTube restrictions)

Its a great site, with lots of other information too.

  • The sweetener in Splenda is not Aspartame.

  • as much as sugar would...

  • Sucralose(what make splenda sweet) is 600 times sweeter than sucrose(sugar), but your body doesn't really metabolize it so you taste it but don't get the fat or energy from it.

  • idk they say its a healthy sugar i guess but idk lol

  • Instead of heavy cream what if you used raw unprocessed coconut oil? That would be a very healthy fat.

  • i did this recipe and my bar was like chewing gum....? weird. maybe too much heavy cream

  • Looks great!

I will try this today with Choc whey and Natty peanut butter!

  • I am going to make this. I was wondering if you've heard of the Indian "chana dal". My understanding is this flour has a glycemic load of 3 and glycemic index of 8, so very low in carbs.

  • damn thats too much work son! just put the protien in a shaker cup and shake it for 10 seconds and down it.

  • but dat will no fill u up.

  • This is the closest I came using conversion programs, although I haven't tried it yet. It seems to me to be less than he used:

1/4 cup natural nut butter e.g. hazelnut

2 tablespoons whey protein isolate - flavor of your choice

    3 tablespoons heavy cream

    (Granulated Splenda is optional)

  • Yes, these are the correct conversions! (I did it just for fun... plus I will make these bars)

  • how do you convert the measurements from europan to american

  • Comment removed

  • roughly how many grams of fat r we talking?

  • Song is 'Spitting Games' by Snow Patrol

  • whats this song called

  • I love it I am gonna try it today thanks bro!!!

  • It's great! I'd like to know aswell...

  • What music is this? "Failure"? It sounds like the singer from "Failure". I loved their first album. I'm now a "libertarian". I am moving towards freedom and human dignity for everyone on planet earth. No government, no theivery, perfect health, no pain. That's why I recommended "World Without Cancer" by G. Edward Griffin. If you add a few roasted apricot seeds (212 deg F for 30 minutes) to the bar, it will neutralize the small amount of cyanide in the seeds and activate the vitamin B17

  • Song is 'Spitting Games' by Snow Patrol

  • I strongly recommend googling "sweet riot" for pure cacao. Also, live super foods dotcom. The reason I suggest avoiding heavy cream is because of arachidonic acid it contains (a byproduct of eating high on the foodchain). Also, if hiking with this, ditch the heavy cream, and cook the bars, or you'll have some kind of rotten milk/cake with you. If not traveling far, you can also add egg beaters as a thickener/ additional protein. Read "Fantastic Voyage" -Ray Kurzweil, and "World Without Cancer"

  • Good video. Technically, it would be just as good to replace the heavy cream with soy milk, and the splenda with stevia (Stevia Clear contains no alcohol or other bad crap, just stevia and water and grapefruit seed extract to prevent oxidation). I use ON whey protein hydrolyzed isolate. The nut butter is good for no-sticking if you bake it in a no-stick pan. The heavy cream should be substituted if you're going to travel with it. Also add cacao, coconut, cranberries + almonds = better taste

  • milk has higher carbs than cream

  • wtf is heavy cream

  • It's cream tha is heavy?.. Shit.. i don't even know. haha

  • for those of you saying it's too much fat - you haven't done low carb...have you.

  • @Pager1991 Yeah, its called getting only essential fats from almonds, natural peanut butter, fish oil. flaxseeds, flaxseed oil, and possibly extra virgin olive oil....

  • Im going to have to give these a try ive been on the mans diet and its going good . not fatigued in the gym and my waste line is slowly going down but not my weight!. its just an odd feeling cutting the carbs and embracing the fat because of all the anti fat bull ive heard for yrs. Also someday ur muscles feel smaller and other days they feel huge.just got some creatine and glutamine so hoping this will retain fullness due to eating very little carbs.Steak and butter . yum yum

  • thanks for this ....yummmmmmmie! i am off to make my own :) x

  • so....after mixing it do you just leave it to set?

  • I was surprised by the end how it actually looked like an edible bar instead of goo!

I wish you would have included how you got it looking like that, though.

  • take off that shit music

  • Not for low fatters because of the heavy cream, but you could replace with natural low-fat yougert, no?

  • I just deleted someone's comment by accident. Sorry about that. He was talking about using 'Truvia', made from natural sweetener Stevia. I hope it gets FDA approval very soon. Sorry again.

  • Thanks MuscleHack! I tried this bar and it is waaay better than any store bought bar, and you know what's in it. I used natural peanut butter for mine (less carbs and no perservatives). Thanks for all the videos.

  • you need the carbs for muscle building though...

  • You dont need a lot of carbs if you're trying to cut, hence the low carb protein bar

  • touche.

  • tonnes of fat though

  • Comment removed

  • Its because the author of this video, along with many other people, are ignorant and instead of intelligently discussing or explaining a point, they merely censor it.

Hence the fact your comment is gone.

  • - What did this person in the video do wrong here?

    - What type of error did he make during his video?

  • 3,5 grams carbohidrate using nut cream??? It doesn't sound true

  • YUM!!! I have to try that...thanks so much =)

    Peace sweetie ^_^V
