  • I remember seeing Ralph Marterie at the Chicago Theater; we were fortunate to have access to an afternoon performance. Later that evening, we saw Peggy Lee at another Night Club.

  • Do you have a song Ralph Marterie did that sounds like Barcarolle theTales of Hoffman. He did this as a trumpet solo with his Marlboro Men Orchestra. Ive lost or misplaced my album. The cover had a trumpet and rose on it .. Thanks

  • @panamjack yes, it's called "Dancing Trumpet" (arranged by Ralph Martierie). In fact, I have a CD called "The Very Best of Ralph Marterie (The Mercury Masters)".

  • @alan1963 Thanks alan for the reply. I found my album finally. but need to convert it to a cd. Ill also look for the cd. I always liked that song by Ralph and his orchestra.

  • Haven't heard this song in years. my father played it over and over on his "new" general electric 15" black and white tv/radio/phono combination. It's so nice to hear it again.
