@gee07060 Thanks George. It took me about 4 or 5 months of practicing to get really proficient with my ACE 250. Once I learned to tell good signals from trash signals, I could spend less time digging trash and more time digging goodies. You really have to "become one" with your machine and learn what she is telling you. I had mine about 16 months before I upgraded to an e-trac. Best wishes and there are tons of great ACE 250 videos on YT to learn from.
@freezeinak I use the Garrett Pro Pointer. It is worth every penny too. It really cuts down on digging time (by half). There are also lots less scratched coins. Best wishes and HH!
I'm happy with mine. I had some trouble with the first one and sent it back. But this one I have now is great! Takes some time to learn and get used to. give yourself some time. It depends on the Terran your going to detect. Learning more and more every time I go out.
What a great clad day! looked like the grass was really long already. Was it difficult to swing in that? Looks like you could still hunt there a while.
@dinger51 Good call about the grass being thick. My arm did get a bit tired trying to move the coil through it. It had been mowed earlier in the week but was already 5 to 6 inches deep. I'd get a quarter signal at 6 inches and it would only be 2 inches in the ground! Thanks for commenting Dinger, looking forward to your next video, HH!
was that a Navy Button? You might have dug up a button from the Civil War it would surprise you where they pop up. I've found in the most odd places that I wouldn't be looking for them. Just a thought look it up it might be.... who knows Great Job HH
@ndmoody123 Once I stopped digging trash signals, my good finds sky rocketed! I listen to the tone and if I am fairly certain it is trash, I pass it by.
You found a bunch of clad! I have never been able to come across that many signals for coins. I went to an old school yesterday and when I got there I saw a man out there using an etrac. I have more competition than I ever realized. I went to an old park the other day and found three pennies. Anyway, great amount of clad and I was hoping you would find gold on that hill. Maybe next time. HH
Thanks Dave. Im really looking forward to finding my first silver. Been to a few parks and find nothing but clad, pull tabs and bottle caps.

Enjoying your videos. I just bought an Ace 350 and have no experience. What kind of pin pointer do you use. I need to buy one obviously.
