Agreed - this was a golden period for Pulp. Gorgeous layered yet slightly cheesy synths, breathy vocals and dirty laughs, driving beats. I think Jarvis and the band nailed the Saturday night Sunday morning feel - the desperation that sometimes somes with daily life when you have no particular skills or gifts.

mjeh, i know what ur saying.. although i picked them up on a double sided Different Class album.. The B-side was called Second Class, which had a lot of good songs as well, incl. seconds, ansaphone, PTA etc.
