this game plays just like the sonic 2's bonus stage. The old school gameplay is the only reason you would want to play that game. Otherwise, Sonic on the wii and the advanture 1 and 2 are the best in 3d.

@thedarkergerkin The drifts are for corner turn purposes. If he stays in the middle of the road, the drift is gonna make him hop like crazy, ergo he stays against the barriers.

I'm an American and I hold 13th place in the world in Sky Sanctuary Act 2 (last time I checked) and also hold 20th in Rooftop Run Act 2 (again, last time I checked, which was last night). And people, this isn't a hack, it's a glitch in the demo. It's not in the final game, though, so no one can use it. That still doesn't explain how someone got 1:39 in this stage, though.

@RadRiardos That's true, but calling the entire game broken because of that one thing is pretty drastic. It's about the only gameplay affecting bug there is, and it only applies to the really narrow-laned auto-steer sections, of which Green Hill's is one of very few in the game.

@drjackstraw1 That's because the camera was turning to the left while Sonic was still moving straight forward. If he hadn't been drifting, the camera would have stayed right behind him and kept perfect track of him.
