I remember bitching about the same thing when I first saw this trailer. As soon as I saw "Mankinds Earliest Civilization" on the screen I was like "Oh fuck me- rental it is." Emmerich did the same horseshit in The Day After Tomorrow. He just took a bunch of bullshit, somehow spun it into an Al Gore science lesson and pretended to educate the audience. Oh, well, at least it looks like the world actually ends in this film, but if he just blows up DC, LA and NYC I'm going to track him down.
