Vatican official Raymond Burke attacked the U.S. Democrats as the "Party of Death" for their stand on abortion. He said Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi, while presenting themselves as good Catholics, have presented Church doctrine on abortion in a false and tendentious way. (see Reuters.blog article of 10/1/2008)
Burke is right on. A vote for a democrat is a vote for murder!
A vote for anyone but McCain-Palin is a vote for an ObamaNation.
But they should be very careful during sunday mass.bawal talaga ang ganitong kanta.the musical director must have a Liturgical Singing Guidelines.Hindi kung ano-ano lang kinakanta.
Normally, I am very traditional, but in this case, I think the music and liturgical dancing is fitting for they truly have a reason to be joyful for they are no longer forced to hide underground and have been given permission to worship. May God continue to protect his people.
i agree with you on that mamacal23 100%. in Catholic worship, there are songs that are not appropriate for mass and some instruments like electric guitars and drums are not even permitted. i am not against this kind of music. it can be used outside of mass like a charismatic gathering but not in mass.
This is a very belssed moment in time. The music is praise music and very appropriate for the times. the bible tells us to take up our cybals, harps and hands..there is nothing wrong with using your body in praise...lift up you hands to the Lord, lift them up in Praise!
this is a very historic moment for the Catholic church but i dont think the music is suitable for the Holy Mass and i dont think the dancing, clapping, etc is part of the Mass. it maybe be appropriate for gatherings outside of Mass. by having all these extra gestures, the church becomes more of a protestant church than a catholic one.
+God bless the Catholic Church, the West and East!
True! I agree with you totally! We should dance and sing our hearts out in praise and worship but remember, in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, there are songs and gestures that are not permitted. But unfortunately, the mass is infiltrated by so many liturgical abuses to the point that they look "acceptable" now. How I wish Catholics re-read the documents of the Church. This kind of music is for charismatic gathering not in Mass.
Shine on! You are like a a lighthouse in the darkness.

I love this song! This reminds me when the late Pope John Paul II visited the Philippines in the 1990's.
Laudatur Iesus Christus
+God bless the Roman Catholic Church!
