Lets put it in perspective. If FF7 had had awesome gameplay but a crappy story, it would not be remembered as it is today. Story is the most important factor in any game. It draws you into the game and lets you forget about whatever other flaws the game might have.

the main theme is the best "sniff", both games brings the most epic story in the history of gaming, most modern games don't pay much attention to story, but Mass Effect Trilogy is the best game worth your buck, GOTY for sure

The story in Mass Effect was brought down by its gameplay. Something that ME2 fixed.

@Radicaldreamer255 The problem with that statement that I have is that the GREATEST sequels improve exponentially over their predecessor. ME2 may have been good, but it wasn't like a SMB2 to SMB3 or MM to MM2 quality of improvement. ME2 is still a great game, especially what it's doing to pave way into the future, but it's not better to an extent I can't believe.
