This guys a hypocritical moron. Walking around complaing about consumerism while he wears a leather jacket and some douchey affliction-like t-shirt. Of course the police won't remove those tents, they are on private property, if Best buy requested them too then they would. It's idiots like this that are ruining this country. They should move to another country and spread their stupidity there.
I love how "Robert" is bitching about consumerism and materialism as if he himself isn't a part of it. That's a nice leather jacket, Robert. Tell me, did you make that yourself, or did you buy it from a retailer, where it was "...manufactured in China or some other country by some kids?" That's great that you want to go out and be all you can be and change America, but could you please pull your head out of your ass before you try and do it? Thanks.
I could care less about Black Friday but.. when people spend the night before Thanksgiving and spend their whole day shopping when they could be with their families. That's fucked up.
This is why homeless people addicted to drugs or alcohol are treated better than working people who fell through the cracks of the economy and still have a work ethic about them. If you don't move product, the system wants you to crawl under a rock and die.
@vawt1953 lol how ignorant you are, ignore the unemployment rate and the fact that there are no jobs made here anymore because we don't make anything, and the fact that there aren't many jobs made here to satisfy the 16-17 million unemployed here. Just because you have a job doesn't mean you are secured, you can easily lose your job due to outsourcing.
I worked in the gorcery business for 38 years, got laid off 3 times, plus was working reduced hours when the business got slow in the early 80's. What did I do???? not sit on my ass at a park. I went out and got a late night parttime job to keep me going. Young people on a whole are lazy and getting even more so. Just because the unemployment is high does not mean there are no jobs. I'am retired from the grocery business, but still work parttime from may to aug
The best thing about this video was the movie advertisement at the beginning of an occupy rant . A little corperate help here? Awsome some, 99%res using the 1% to further the cause
if the people are beaten, pepper-sprayed, and arrested for excersising thier constitutional rights they need to take it to the next level, riot loot and fight them. open war is apon us weather we like it or not. fight back.
To me, it soulds a lot like a woman that would say "he keeps on beating me, but he loves me and provides for me".
This Black Friday, I stayed home. And the worst thing is that I have not been affected negatively by the recession. If anything, I am ritcher now than before. Yet I see the people who are feeding the beast that hurts them.
Some people only get, what they have been asking for.
@gmknapp. Wait for a leader, you have one. Obama has tried to make the system work however the boys on the other side will not let the him put his plans into action. Its a scene out of a bad comedy the way he is accused of not takeing action by the people that are forceing him not to act.
You do understand that people aren't going to get arrested for camping at BestBuy because they are allowed to camp there. If you Occupy a park that closes at a certain time, than you don't have permission to be there and will be arrested.
@rollertider Ah yes, because the cop car was IN THE MIDDLE OF ZUCOTTI PARK AT THE TIME. Oh wait, no it wasn't, and your little conflated innuendo is retarded.
@rollertider Actually no, see these ppl had a purpose well stated and the wall streeters didn't. The cops know they will get their goodies and be moving on, to try to move them would be 'retarded' and if the cops tried to move them you would then be bashing them for being irrational against innocent shopper! A no win for the cop. And you are too smart not to see why the OWS movement didn't work, or at least I trust you are.
@FredthaGr8t Fred, what we need to fix the broken ass economy is commerce. the movement of money, wich i'm pretty sure OWS wants too. if we boycott buissnesses its only gonna get worse. your the sheep. open your eyes.
private property of not i think the message is simple in that when people are using their freedom of speech the system brings them down but if its to make a profitthan its ok for people to camp out.sure people have the right to buy whatever they want but i think there is something terribly wrong with the human mind. when people are eager to get into a wallmart or anyother store for a freacking toy and people get ran over for a discount. something is wrong and people need to wake up
Yes sir, nothing like wanting to starve out the "slaves" in retail to prove you truly don't represent them. Keep it up guys, at this rate you'll whittle down your own movement to the leftisst nub it truly is.
With typical self-righteous wrong-headedness, the Occupiers tried to stop the real 99% from shopping at the stores of their choice. Occupy St. Ana suggested Wal-Mart workers call in sick. Bad idea! They will be fired.
Orange County Occupiers lectured Wal-Mart workers causing some to feel insulted.
I am still waiting for Occupiers to do anything which benefits any percent except themselves. Their new goal is Occupy Xmas.
If people do or don't want to buy, they deserve free choice.
@Yankhadenough yank. this is my third point against yours and here it goes. YOU PEOPLE NEVER MENTION WHAT YOU DO TO THE POLICE TO PROVOKE THEM!! in denver, the capital of my state, there is graffiti all over the police stations, windows are broken out and people are shoving officers off there bikes. the police are meerly enforcing the law, making money to feed their families. they don't get any pleasure out of it. its their job.
@1988scottcarey Best Buy is not following a "camping law" , how utterly ridiculous, you made that up! Best Buy is in clear violation of laws in this video!
@Yankhadenough wrong yank, the area is private and it belongs to best buy, they can let anyone stay, and they can also make anyone leave. its their parking lot, they bought it. its theirs. so there fore if it is allowed, then people may camp there.
@1988scottcarey Your logic is a bit off. BestBuy stores are in public areas. They can't allow people to stay but they can't tell them to leave either. Occupiers tend to camp out in areas that become private after closing hours which is why they are taken out. The law isn't above anyone, shoppers and occupiers alike. Now if in a week Occupiers want to Occupy there local Walmart, they most certainly can.
well, i think i may be the first to tell you, G4T, that OWS.... is BS. why? well lets see, your demands are to spread the wealth, among the people. "even out the classes" but that statement right there. 50 percent of COMMUNISM. i also understand OWS supports Maoism, which is in itself. communism.maybe not you yourself but many, many people in occupy wall street, blame... wait for it.... the Jewish. claiming they have all the power, that is exactly what HITLER did in the holocaust plz tell me.. y
@transformerskid567 #OWS supports representative democracy via Constitution (WE THE PEOPLE control corporations) NOT corporatism aka fascism (aka corporations control the govt and therefore the people).
@Yankhadenough excuse me. but america, is not a democracy not a representative democracy. its a representational republic. Y? well we elect and put our trust in a few REPRESENTATIVES of state, and they go to the house of REPRESENTATIVES, and vote in our favor. what you want is already here... what are you fighting for?
@Yankhadenough Also as a little proof. this "The United States is, indeed, a republic, not a democracy. Accurately defined, a democracy is a form of government in which the people decide policy matters directly--through town hall meetings or by voting on ballot initiatives and referendums. A republic, on the other hand, is a system in which the people choose representatives who, in turn, make policy decisions on their behalf."
Continuing...dang iPad, they will sit on their money until a leader shows up and knows what to do. We don't need more taxes taken out of our paychecks now, we need a smaller gov't that doesn't bleed this country dry! You guys sit there in your occupy villages and complain, but don't take active steps in doing something, so go ahead and sit there and the big government take care of you, that's what you really want anyway!
You have no idea what made this country what it is today. Please do more research on the economy, where things are made and everything else. The companies do have the money to spur job creation but they are afraid to pull the money out due to the current administration, they have no confidence in him! So,they wil
@plzenjoymybigolpenis's spreads fallacy>police brutality is permissable in one situation but not another. Also believes fantasy that businesses do not have municipal, county, state, & fed laws regulating businesses, and that businesses make up rules in "kingdoms". Also does not know rights belong to people not property. There are fire dept access ordinances, disability access laws, health/safety codes, etc. to protect people being violated here @Big Box Occupation, yet no police brutality
H9ow many time do I have to hear people quoting "crony capitalism" when you ask them to define it they have no idea what the words actually mean. The shoppers are also not there to support any corporation, they are shopping for themselves.
@meghanleyva Why did you have to begin your post by calling someone an idiot? You lost all credibility with me and everyone else and proved you are just a troll; whatever valid point you may have is good for nothing. BTW, OWS was on private property too; Zuccotti Park owned by Brookfield LLC. Get a brain and an education and start reading for a change instead of pepper spraying, shooting and trampling each other to save a few dollars on Call of Duty and the Barbie Smartphone at BB' kay babe?
most occupy niggers, hippies, union and collage anti- americans out buying shit made in other countries by evil corpoorate manufactures, most you are just hypocritical fuck faces are looking for any reason to rebel agianst society, all you motherfuckers should live in an already socialized nation where you can really learn to understand what you are trying to destroy .
The clearly articulated point by Robert (which sadly still eludes the ignorant naysayers) is that NO HUMAN BEING should be beaten, pepper-sprayed, brutalized by police, etc in America (or anywhere) for merely peacefully camping for First Amendment rights, or for waiting in line for The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword Bundle (btw, which are sold out at Best Buy online, so check Amazon) even though BOTH situations violate some ordinance and/or law.
i will die before i shop at these corporate whores.... i have not shopped at walmart in 4yrs and i go to the grocery store 1 time a month because i grow my own food wake up sheeple.
its crazy watching the brainwashed masses line up like mindless sheep and then trample or damn near kill each other for a stupid dvd player. wait, that's an insult to sheep. These people are sad and pathetic.
what he should have said was DONT FUCKING BUY IT !!! organic home grown foods, shelter, recycled/ self made clothing, thats ALL people should be putting their money into until the system changes. you cannot consume products made by slaves without being a slave yourself
This is just another blatant example of the 2-tiered US justice system, profits trump people.
If the people are exercising their First Amendment rights, they are beaten, pepper-sprayed, and arrested.
But if Box Store has a sale, retail encampments can thrive unhibited in blatant violation of a variety of ordinances & laws that regulate businesses & customers' actions. Occupiers could camp in front of every Box Store in America now, they are apparently zoned to be free of police brutality!
I'm too lazy to type an honest response here. It will fall on deaf ears. Read an introductory book on finance and economics. It's more than just "Us VS. Them Hurr Durr."
One key point works alone without assistance from the others and that is STOP MINDLESS SPENDING. If we could control out spending as a country "they" would not "have us by the balls". But in a recession we can not refraim from the thrill of discount shopping. More than half of the items purchased durin these sales has nothing to do with basic survival yet that is where we are as a country. We will feel it soon enough.
So it is illegal to hire an undocumented immigrant who contributes to our economy, but it is legal for a big corporation to outsource jobs to people that don't contribute to our economy. Stop out sourcing jobs and hire immigrants!
The problem with his statement that it is a vicious circle is that people don't "need" anything that they are buying at best buy. They can't eat it or feed their family with anything there. They are supporting corporations by choice even though these products are made in other countries by poor people, it is a choice...
@travis122imdb I see, so you think ONLY the white people are putting up tents at occupy wall street, or even in this video. That's a racist assumption.
@mowgli2071 Uh for the last 20 or so years I have put me money into these "evil big banks" and ya know what!!?? They pay me this miracle called "compound interest" It has made me and my family thrive greatly. It is so easy even you could do it! Ya ought to try it!
@mowgli2071 Uh these occutards are nothing but a bunch of clueless, jealous, losers. It not my fault they have not yet developed marketable skills. Hope your not a bottomfeeder all your life.
Yank, your argument has been utterly destroyed. You have no consistent or objective reasoning that you're applying. You're against Best Buy for emotional reasons, and you're in support of the occupiers for emotional reasons.
There is no rational thought guiding your beliefs or conclusions. You just have random instinctual reactions you're trying to justify. You're like a monkey reacting to flashing lights and loud noises.
@plzenjoymybigolpenis No, because you did not coherently lay out anything. Your logic is that ordinances and laws that regulate Best Buy and Black Friday campers/shoppers are irrelevant, and that First Amendment is meaningless
@Yankhadenough Incorrect yet again. My argument is that best buy shoppers are complying with public ordinance. If public ordinance allows it to occur, the people doing so are compliant.
The occupiers are absolutely in violation of public ordinance. Applying your own logic, they should be arrested and fined for failing to comply.
Your logic is inconsistent, imprecise, and utterly retarded.
@plzenjoymybigolpenis Your argument is based on false premise, not on ordinances and laws. You have already deemed those irrelevant in the magical kingdom of Best Buy's "private property" where all laws & ordinances are null and void, and therefore all Black Friday campers can do ANYTHING they please
@Yankhadenough Wrong wrong wrong. Again, another strawman. Christ almighty, are you 8 years old?
I said clearly that the customers of Best Buy are able to camp overnight in compliance with public ordinance. Wal-Mart is known for granting its customers this privilege, but not all cities allow them to do so. If the city does, the customers may.
The occupiers, however, whenever in violation of public law, are, by your OWN logic, criminals that should be arrested and fined.
@usedtobesupermom Public property is not owned by the people, it is owned by the State or Federal government which has been empowered ".. by the People.." to manage, care fore and if necessary legislate. The State may charge for entry, dis-allow entry, or arrest anyone not following State or Federal laws or guidelines for its use. These laws/guidelines were created "by the People', via legislation and upheld by the courts and enforced by State/Fed agencies (FBI, State Police, Local Law).
Are you seeking the ultimate truth? Search for "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then click on "The Present" to open it. It is not what you think it is.
I thank the government everyday , and want to kiss their ass for protecting because I am a way to stupid to take care of myself , thank you my Lords.
Please shove a chip up my ass so you can watch over me always and when I sleep, I love you dear bankers and federal reserve take whatever you need off me.
4) Way too many ppl overextended themselves buying houses they could not afford. The financial sector was not properly monitored by the Fed, Dem’s and Repub’s, both dropped the ball.
5) You do NOT have to buy products. Customers simply have to refuse and the markets will change. You need to look harder at yourself. Would you pay $5000 more for your car? Would you pay $5000 more a year in Med. Insurance? This is the price of doing it the right way. What video camera are u using? Bet it’s Japanese
1) Best Buy property is not public, they can allow ppl to camp out if they please.
2) The U.S. is a republic with democratic overtones. Our economy is 100% driven by free market and trade. That means some people will get rich while others will not. No corp. in the U.S. is preventing anyone from finding their dream.
3) Police, by law, must maintain the law. If public property is being taken over it is their job to clear such property. If it is private property, the owner makes that choice.
@Maxxumless 1) Best Buy is a business not a self-ruling kingdom. It is subject to the rule of laws in America.
2)The USA is a representative democracy (a republic), which means the voting citizens rule via their elected public servants. Our economy is driven by whatever the voting citizens decide will drive it. We The People regulate commerce 100% via the Commerce Clause of the USA Constitution
3)Police can come into any area (public or private) with due cause to enforce the ordinances/laws
2) Total stupidity. The USA is a constitutional republic, which restricts on a significant level what the people are capable of doing via democratic means.
3) Is this supposed to be an argument? A person with a knife can stab someone. A person with a gun can shoot someone. A person with a dick can rape someone. So? What the fuck kind of idiotic argument are you even attempting to make?
@plzenjoymybigolpenis 1) Utter ignorance if you believe that Best Buy is not subject to municipal, county, state and federal laws
2) Total fallacy. The authority of power in USA is held by each and every voting citizen, period. Our politicians are elected by us and are Constitutionally beholden to only their constituents (although corrupt corporate campaign financing aka bribes has changed that unfortunately)
3) Laws rule, not people. Laws are not supposed to be "cafeteria style"
@Yankhadenough 1) Total strawman, never said such a thing.
2) Utter logical trash without any clear premises or conclusion. Again, we are a constitutional republic -- a constitution of which restricts what the people can and cannot do via democratic means.
3) Didn't you just try to make the argument that people are the just rulers? Where does law come from? What makes "law" the ultimate authority that one should submit or subject themselves to.
@Yankhadenough 1) Best Buy is privately owned. People may not occupy private property w/o the consent of the owner(s).
2) The Commerce Clause states that Congress, not the "People" will regulate business. You do not have the right to regulate any type of trade across reservation (Indian), State or International boarders. That is up to the Fed.
3) Police may enter any area if they believe a crime is occurring. O.W. ppl trespassed on private/state property w/o permission. e.g. they broke the law
Stupid people if they go and work for few hours any place instead of sitting for three days camping they can save more money than what the places will offer them for black Friday, crazy people no morals no ethics
Well considering that this is private property the police can't do anything about it. The only way they can is if the owner of the property wants them removed, but i highly doubt that the owner would wont this people to move.
I say this as constructive criticism and not to offend you but did you make those clothes and that jacket you’re wearing? Did you brush your teeth this morning with a homemade brush and homemade tooth paste? We all contribute to the system one way or another and we all have drastic changes to make! It’s a transition that will take a very very long time to make.
This is a RIDICULOUS comparison!!! This is Best Buy's PRIVATE PROPERTY! They have EVERY right to allow people to camp out there if it will benefit them.
If, however, those people are camping out on my private property, I have every right to boot them out! If it's public property, then it will depend on the laws and ordinances in that city, but I have never heard of camping in a public park being allowed anywhere within a city.
Are you a truth seeker? Search for "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then click on "The Present" and read what it says. If you are sick and tired of the lies and deception that plague our world, thumb up this comment so others can see it.
The Black Friday shoppers are camping out on PRIVATE property with the the owners' permission. The Occupiers, however, are camping out on PUBLIC property without proper permits. I'm not condoning the violation of constitutional rights occurring all over the country, so don't start flaming me. I'm merely pointing out the difference between the two groups.
@EthanRocks they do have limits to the amount they can give. Ads are going to come out no matter what. Seriously just read! What Bush did was no surprize, its what he said he would do all along.
@Yankhadenough Or here is a thought actually pay attention to what you are voteing for! These guys do not hide what they stand for. Just a couple of hours of research before election time is all I am asking for. Out of curiosity when the benifits for big companys are taken away and they move hundreds of thousands of jobs out of your country. How are they going to replace these jobs and the billions in taxes that they bring in?
@jason8897386 oh sure, politicians never lie to the voters to serve their corporate masters! o_O So you advocate more of Trickle Down BIG LIE that led to this perpetual widening of disparity between 99% and 1% in the first place? Been there done that, failed then and continues to fail us now, so chances are high that it will continue to fail us even more in the future
You sir are a master regurgitator. Saying "crazy" twenty times in 4 minutes doesn't make it so. Your solution is...what? Forced manufacturing in the States with artificially forced low prices while paying high wages? That's about the only "solution" I gather from the world of people like this.
@Yankhadenough Bush got put into power, he told the people what he was going to do. War, more power to banks to poliece themselfs. The general public ate it up. It blows up in the faces of everyone concerned and now its hey these guys have money they did it! No evil powers were present just bad ideas made when people were guilible enough to belive in them.
@Yankhadenough Wow delusional much? These people get elected by platforms, the people put these guys and policys into action. What people need to do is look in the mirror and accpt the fact that they are as much to blame as the people who set loose these policys. Corperations are easy targets but what did they really do? Did they bribe the public to agree with the choices made?
@jason8897386 common sense much? Corporations that pay politicians (aka corporate campaign financing aka bribes) expect something in return (aka policies favorable to corporations )
this guy is the biggest moron i've ever seen on video. he just says random stuff that is barely related ("OWS uses tents, these people are in tents!") and acts like he just shot out some brilliant axiom for the ages, and everyone is just like "oh yeah right on, this guy is the truth."
@Yankhadenough. That's all that needs to be done! amazing just one thing and the econemy will swing back, jobs for all? What the hell does it matter which candidate gets the most money! Its the policys that matter, gutting campaign financing will just make elections with less commercials.
@jason8897386 Actually yes, when the "legal" bribery is banned, politicians will be serving we the people regarding public policies, instead of their corporate masters
@jason8897386 then lets focus on the policyies and put the attack ads to bed. Get corporate donations out of the campaign cycle and lets see what the conversation looks like when there is only a fixed limit on the campaign expenditures. This would be good training for fiscal responsibility when governing too.
This guy reminds me of that really annoying fellow student at University or college who is great at complaining about everything wrong with the world but falls silent when the prof asks him for a solution. These people that complain about these corperations don't understand that the mom and pop stores account for a low percentage of jobs and for the most part pay less, that's right less then the big boys. Don't believe me do the research, this whole occupy thing is pure condensed stupidity.
Terrible message! Best buy owns the property here, and as private property they reserve the right to allow tents. Public property is different. Stop making up stupid topics to argue! It's different because BEST BUY owns this property! Stop bothering these shoppers!
@butthand23 That still doesn't cover the fact that corporations don't pay taxes and gain millions based on cheap labor. Local stores are closing because shoppers prefer to save 20% on a product made by foreign cheap labor. Go ahead consumer shop your worries away...
@butthand23 Corporations, in fact ALL businesses, are under ordinances and laws just like every other "private property" out there! America is ruled by laws in this country, not by corporations & not by proprietors
@Yankhadenough not quite so fast. Corporations write the laws in many instances & always to favor themselves over any competitor. Wal Mart admits they go into towns, note what mom and pop stores have to charge & then price all those products a few cents cheaper than the mom and pop can buy the goods for and wait for them to be put out of business to create a monopoly on the town and community. Wal Mart helped craft the legislation that exempts them from anti-trust and monopoly regulations.
@butthand23 actually the government owns the property aka property taxes and Best Buy merely leases the land but, I see where you are going. I do agree with the sentiment that no one is "policing" these tent dwellers because they are there to spend money.
Man this shit stupid Ill just pay regular price for the shit if i want it. This guy is right though. Fuck occupying wall street dont occupy walmart or best buy if you want to protest. Stop giving them so much money.

private property of not i think the message is simple in that when people are using their freedom of speech the system brings them down but if its to make a profitthan its ok for people to camp out.sure people have the right to buy whatever they want but i think there is something terribly wrong with the human mind. when people are eager to get into a wallmart or anyother store for a freacking toy and people get ran over for a discount. something is wrong and people need to wake up

Yankhadenough 3 months ago
@Yankhadenough wrong yank, the area is private and it belongs to best buy, they can let anyone stay, and they can also make anyone leave. its their parking lot, they bought it. its theirs. so there fore if it is allowed, then people may camp there.
transformerskid567 3 months ago
@1988scottcarey Your logic is a bit off. BestBuy stores are in public areas. They can't allow people to stay but they can't tell them to leave either. Occupiers tend to camp out in areas that become private after closing hours which is why they are taken out. The law isn't above anyone, shoppers and occupiers alike. Now if in a week Occupiers want to Occupy there local Walmart, they most certainly can.

A republic, on the other hand, is a system in which the people choose representatives who, in turn, make policy decisions on their behalf."

Yankhadenough 3 months ago
@Yankhadenough Does seeing your own logic actually laid out clearly embarrass even you?
plzenjoymybigolpenis 3 months ago
@plzenjoymybigolpenis No, because you did not coherently lay out anything. Your logic is that ordinances and laws that regulate Best Buy and Black Friday campers/shoppers are irrelevant, and that First Amendment is meaningless
Yankhadenough 3 months ago
@Yankhadenough Incorrect yet again. My argument is that best buy shoppers are complying with public ordinance. If public ordinance allows it to occur, the people doing so are compliant.
The occupiers are absolutely in violation of public ordinance. Applying your own logic, they should be arrested and fined for failing to comply.
Your logic is inconsistent, imprecise, and utterly retarded.
plzenjoymybigolpenis 3 months ago
@plzenjoymybigolpenis Your argument is based on false premise, not on ordinances and laws. You have already deemed those irrelevant in the magical kingdom of Best Buy's "private property" where all laws & ordinances are null and void, and therefore all Black Friday campers can do ANYTHING they please
Yankhadenough 3 months ago
@Yankhadenough Wrong wrong wrong. Again, another strawman. Christ almighty, are you 8 years old?
I said clearly that the customers of Best Buy are able to camp overnight in compliance with public ordinance. Wal-Mart is known for granting its customers this privilege, but not all cities allow them to do so. If the city does, the customers may.
The occupiers, however, whenever in violation of public law, are, by your OWN logic, criminals that should be arrested and fined.

@plzenjoymybigolpenis PUBLIC PROPERTY BELONGS TO THE PUBLIC!
usedtobesupermom 3 months ago
@usedtobesupermom Public property is not owned by the people, it is owned by the State or Federal government which has been empowered ".. by the People.." to manage, care fore and if necessary legislate. The State may charge for entry, dis-allow entry, or arrest anyone not following State or Federal laws or guidelines for its use. These laws/guidelines were created "by the People', via legislation and upheld by the courts and enforced by State/Fed agencies (FBI, State Police, Local Law).

Maxxumless 3 months ago
1) Best Buy property is not public, they can allow ppl to camp out if they please.
2) The U.S. is a republic with democratic overtones. Our economy is 100% driven by free market and trade. That means some people will get rich while others will not. No corp. in the U.S. is preventing anyone from finding their dream.
3) Police, by law, must maintain the law. If public property is being taken over it is their job to clear such property. If it is private property, the owner makes that choice.
Maxxumless 3 months ago
@Maxxumless 1) Best Buy is a business not a self-ruling kingdom. It is subject to the rule of laws in America.
2)The USA is a representative democracy (a republic), which means the voting citizens rule via their elected public servants. Our economy is driven by whatever the voting citizens decide will drive it. We The People regulate commerce 100% via the Commerce Clause of the USA Constitution
3)Police can come into any area (public or private) with due cause to enforce the ordinances/laws
Yankhadenough 3 months ago
@Yankhadenough 1) Total and utter strawman.
2) Total stupidity. The USA is a constitutional republic, which restricts on a significant level what the people are capable of doing via democratic means.

plzenjoymybigolpenis 3 months ago
@plzenjoymybigolpenis 1) Utter ignorance if you believe that Best Buy is not subject to municipal, county, state and federal laws
2) Total fallacy. The authority of power in USA is held by each and every voting citizen, period. Our politicians are elected by us and are Constitutionally beholden to only their constituents (although corrupt corporate campaign financing aka bribes has changed that unfortunately)
3) Laws rule, not people. Laws are not supposed to be "cafeteria style"
Yankhadenough 3 months ago
@Yankhadenough 1) Total strawman, never said such a thing.
2) Utter logical trash without any clear premises or conclusion. Again, we are a constitutional republic -- a constitution of which restricts what the people can and cannot do via democratic means.

If, however, those people are camping out on my private property, I have every right to boot them out! If it's public property, then it will depend on the laws and ordinances in that city, but I have never heard of camping in a public park being allowed anywhere within a city.

@jason8897386 Occupy Wall Street has been saying the solution from the beginning, get the corrupt corporate campaign financing out of politics!

Its private property idiot
dbjones200428 3 months ago
@dbjones200428 "private property" does NOT nullify ordinances and laws! Best Buy is not a monarchy within the USA!
Yankhadenough 3 months ago

Yankhadenough 3 months ago
@butthand23 Also, customers are under rule of law too, they cannot break ordinances and laws just because they are on "private property"
Yankhadenough 3 months ago
