Just put an adjustable orafice inline before the rame to control the speed of the door. You can use any type valve, pin set, ball, gate, or one designed to control flow. Don't chop the chickens!!!

So if the power has to be turned off for the door to open does that mean that it is on the entire time the door is closed? Isn't that inefficent?
