Thanks for the tutorial. I'm just starting to learn Photoshop and will use this technique of future photo edits. Can you explain what "alt + shift + backspace" does while your on the curves layer? Specifically, I want to know how to access this option via the menu as it helps me understand and remember the technique. Thanks!
There's a circular icon at the bottom of the Layers palette. The icon is divided diagonally. Half of it is black, half of it is white. Click the icon and choose Curves from the pop-up menu.
Wow shame it IQ was so poor all blurred and if you go full screen on my 24ins its not watchable….

Thanks for the comment. Alt+Backspace fills the layer mask with the foreground color, which I've changed to black.

you can whiten the eyes with thte burn tool at about 15% as well. but thanks always lots of ways to do the same thing in photoshop!
