  • Hi, I'm new to this stencil. I found your videos and I really love your work is very good could you tell me how to do those little black circles? What program? and you cut one by one or is there a special tool for them? If you could tell me would be helpful Thank you. Congratulations are very good work

  • and she does love it!

  • that picture is of my sister and her boyfriend and im not lying!

    i swear!

  • hi do you think you could do one where at point you slow it down or add text to explain how you create your affects because its too fast to follow...

  • totally awesome! I have some similar works, any tips on keeping the islands on the eyes and in the letters so stable and clean?

  • Hi, thanks for the comments. Adhesive spray is what I used to keep those loose parts in place and make sure all the edges are pressed down so underspray won't happen. Also, spray lightly and in layers so that edges will be clean and paint won't leak through. Hope that helps.

  • your work amazes me

  • Excellent

  • Damn That was really nice!

  • how did u do the dots..did u cut that out too with knife?? lol it would take 4ever if u did.

  • Yup, I had to cut them out too. But since they were so small I had to cut them as squares instead of round dots. But you can't tell when it was sprayed.

  • how do i do stencil with faces with eyes ?

    2 layer?

  • You can do that all in 1 stencil. But if you want more detail like shadows then you can make multilayer stencils.

  • Hey nice video I love that artwork.

Can you post the stage of the making of those multilayers stencils? (not the cutting part) :P

Would be greatly helpful. Thanks for showing us that video. Your a real inspiration.

  • Oh you mean when I made the layers on PS/PSP? I'd like to do that but I don't know how to capture video on the comp screen. But I'll be sure to look into that.

  • I've used this one program call Camstudio or something like that. It's a great program to capture screen recording.

  • Thanks for the program! I'll check it out.

  • can you take me as one of your student plzz

im really into stenciling and i been stencilin some of my own

but i got alot to learn and all i can do is stenicling one layer

    teach me wise master ^_^

  • What kind of paper do you use? When you sprayed turtle and fruity you peeled off what was left did you just stick it on there because the paint wasn't dry? Thanks.

  • I just used cardstock, it's sturdier than regular paper. What was left over is still the cardstock. My stencils aren't connected so they're not reusable, I'd have to print out another one if I wanted to do it again. What wasn't shown is that I had to cut out the words while it was on the canvas. The cardstock was sprayed with temp adhesive to stay put while I cut out the words.

  • how do u get the stencil to stay so well on the canvas. I use adhesive spray as well, but it seems to have troubles gripping the canvas?

  • I use adhesive spray too in temporary bond where you spray the stencil, let it dry, then stick it on the canvas. Works fine with me. Sometimes I see people putting nuts, bolts, and heavy things on stencils to hold them down.

  • whats the song called?

  • which one? I've credited every song I used at the end of my videos.

  • Well for this one, since the dots were small and on cardstock I had to cut them out as little squares but you can hardly tell when you spray it. And I think you're referring to another video of mine where I used clear contact paper to cut out dots and peeled it away.

  • yeh probably, is that on this?

  • yes the video is on this account

  • so you cut each circle out?? I'm sure if seen one, where a girl pealed this sticky plastic away from her picture to get the dots... Do you know what she might have used and how she did it? If you do that would be wicked, thanks

  • There's several reason why that's happened. 1) could be the surface you're painting on. If you're painting on a rough or uneven surface, that could cause the paint to bleed 2) you're spraying too heavily or close to the stencil. Try spraying farther and lightly, let it dry for a bit, then repeat until it's covered. 3) the material your stencil is made of is causing it to bleed. In this video my stencils are cardstock, which is stronger than regular paper. Hope that helps.

  • you are soo good! i am trying to get into stenciling but they aren't turning out to good, especially my layered ones. any pointers/tips? i use a spray adhesive but the paint still bleeds! any advice would be awesome. what material do you use for the stencil itself? maybe that's my problem.

  • Just good ol' exacto knife and patience. hehe They printed it out as circles but I had to cut them out squarish.

  • how did you do the hole things into the paper? great
