Awwwwww my cat died suddenly too! She was eating and the food went into her lung instea of her stomach! I was at school when that happened and i got back and my mom told me to go find my kitty and i found her dead on the floor! She was my best friend!

My Russian Blue, Dusty, died yesterday, he got run over, he was my best friend, we grew up together. He was extraordinary, we moved one day and we left him, but then the next morning we found him lying on our doorstep, we followed us the whole 2 miles, he was the best. I hope he's happy where he is.

My can had a blocked urinary tract. Started acting fun, then as if in pain, then taken to the vets before dying - all in less than 12 hours.  This is very common in tom cats, very fast and likely what caused alot of the deaths of cats that 'were poisoned' or just curled up and die.

My grandma's cat is dying and it's really sad because I've known her all my life. I wish she didn't get a tumor ! It's so sad to see the pets and people you love and know die so quick I just can't believe it . One day she's relaxing on the couch and the next she can't breathe or act normal . I am crying because we don't want her to suffer , but at least she will always be in our hearts .

My cat has recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer, he throws up quite a lot around 6:30am and has lost about 300g in 2 weeks (not alot when compared to a human, but for a cat that is a lot). He's so skinny, he's hiding underneath the bedd and tables and is not like he was at all comparedd to 4 months ago; never asking for ffood or anything. I don't want him to die man, no come on please he's been arouind for ages and shit jifskiok..,ll;,,,,,cant write anymore t sorry.

I was unable to find my cat last night. Today around 4:30 p.m. we found her in the closet. She seemed to be having some kind of seizures. I called the vet and they said to give her up to four days to get over them. I went to class and when I got home to check on her at around 11:30 p.m. she seemed no better and mins later died as I was petting her. She will be missed by both my dog and I.

One day i came home from school, I found my cat laying in the roadside. It was raining and she was so cold ant wet :( I took her with me inside of our house. I tryed to give her some food and water, but she only wanted to get out, but she couldn't because everytime she was trying to walk, she fell and it was so terrible to look at, and so sad for her. :(

@linem2 - I was very nervous and cryed, because i didn't know, what had happend to her. :( Later that day, my mom had brougt her to her basket, were she layed the hole night, until my mom saw her breathing her last breath and then she died. :( :( :( I miss her so much! :'( Although its a couple of years ago, i still miss her so much!

Well you should have kept the animal inside. Not only is it safer for the cat, but for the rest of the world. You do understand that cats cause a lot of damage to an ecosystem right? I'm not saying that the poisoning was justified, but honestly if you kept the animal inside where it was safe, it never would have been dead.

None of my reptiles would ever meet this grisly fate because I kept them safe inside. I find that cat owners are some of the most irresponsible pet owners around.

As a parent must look after their kids you must look after your animal. Should a parent allow their child to climb cliffs?

A parent must look after their children but, they must be given small amounts of freedom. Everyone must learn in their own way even if it can be risky at some points.

It's a natural instinct for them to kill animals. It is not a waste because they do eat the prey, not let it rot.
