  • Thanks Logan, what a great tip. I'm a beginner and always thought the pitching club was what should be used, never thought to use another club. I'll definitely try that.

  • Take this advise with caution.

    The reason why wedges have high pitches is because you have more control over where on the green the ball stops with a higher degree chip.

    Using an iron lowers the pitch, and increases the roll as the ball lands. More roll = less control over where the ball stops on the green. Your choice.

  • I agree with Logan. My chipping has improve after I used my 5,7,8,9 iron and not only my sand wedge. I minimized my error since then. just practice how to control the distance with each club you use and you'll be ok. practice practice practice. Thanks for the tip...
