  • Nice collection, just wanna know can you do this whit your sword...?

    watch?v=uH1go9im24M

    watch?v=-SOz9WTpo_U

or its just sword for watching ???

  • sweeet dude

  • Is your sting UNITED CUTLERY?

  • striders sword is the best

  • @rileydd08 I agree with you fully. In fact... After having it for a few years, I just bought a second one..... (nerd alert).

  • @zbruggs where do you buy it?

  • @rileydd08 I'm glad you asked. For the most part, I have always gotten them on eBay. If you are interested in buying one, the most important thing is that you make sure they are United Cutlery (UC). They were the ones who had the original license to make the replicas. There are tons of knock-offs, so be careful.

  • @rileydd08 Also, the prices have come a long way. I have all of the swords in this video and more (no staffs or anything) and they used to be $200 minimum. Now you can get them much cheaper.. like $130 or less... good luck! Striders sword is the best (along with the impossible-to-find scabbard) along with Glamdring (with scabbard) and Narsil/anduril (with scabbard. Also, Boromir's sword is badass!

  • need boromirs sword

  • @bureshstube I have Boromir's sword now. It's awesome ;)

  • Herugrim is my favourite, along with Theoden and the people of Rohan.

  • I have a feeling that your Anduril is not United Cutlery, correct me if i'm wrong. There are no sun rays producing from the hilt, as seen in the offical Anduril.

  • @TheCreedofAssassinos Well spotted, but that's because it's NOT Anduril :)

It is in fact Narsil, and very much United Cutlery.

It's the sword belonging to King Elendil that was broken, then reforged to become Anduril.

But i'm guessing you know the Narsil history anyways, so I won't patronise you any further hehe.

However it IS in the Anduril scabbard. UC never made a Narsil scabbard, so I can see where the confusion would come in :)

  • @phantomphreaq yous till miss in my opinion the coolest sword from the whole collection: sword of isildur.

  • @Verithiell You know what, I was never really a fan of Isildur's sword, myself. I might still get it if it's cheap enough, but I won't go out of my way to buy it.

  • I want that Saruman Staff so bad.... can't find it anywhere!

  • Honestly, how much do you think as a rough estimate you've spent on all that?

  • Im Jealous i tried to get the knife of aragorn to start my collection but i was outbid any good websites to search for great quality but low price swords?

  • @ConnersAccount

    Kult of Athena dot com

  • My favourite is Frodo's Sting sword (+ scabbard), although it's in fact the most simple one. It's the only one I possess, and I love it, lol. It fits me as a person, I guess haha. Nice collection anyway!

  • @JNovak92 i wish they had anodized or coated the sting swords blade a pale blue like it glowed in the movies just to set it apart because its so small for the price anyways : P

  • I'm selling the helm of sauron, and the gauntlet of sauron united cutlery, both brand new, and in mint condition on ebay. My ebay id is dpope2011

  • @Sm0k3NMirr0rs I had the helm, I had to sell it on as it's so big. I had nowhere to store it, let alone display it. I still regret sellling it, especially as I saw one sell recently on US eBay for a massive $2,500!

I have the gauntlet already. It's a beautiful piece.

  • Comment removed

  • @phantomphreaq It sold for that price??? Mine sold for $550 plus shipping.

  • @Sm0k3NMirr0rs yes it sold for that price.

  • PLEASE tell me where u got those swords and stuff. im begging you. if utell me ill deff subscribe and get some of my other lotr fan friends to subscribe to :)

  • @SuperZanna88 lol I have actually aquired a couple more since I made this inc Boromir's sword, which is awesome, Def one of my favourites.

These are mostly from eBay in the UK. Unfortunatley it is now against eBay policy to sell these in the UK, but crafty sellers still put them on from time to time. Just search on eBay for 'United Cutlery LOTR'

If you're in the US, then happy days for you. Just type the same search in and you'll get loads come up as it's not illegal to sell them over there.

  • @phantomphreaq are they sharp? or will they snap if u hit them against something? cuz some false edged blades to break easily

  • @SuperZanna88 they are false edged, though still pretty damn sharp at the tips. I've more than one cut over the years. They are made from the original props, full size, full weight and are made to be weapons, so no. they won't snap if you hit them against something. Though to be frank, WHY would you want to hit them against anything? You lose two thirds of their value if there's any damage, and despite being false edged you can still seriously injure or kill someone with these.

  • @phantomphreaq aha thanks mate. and cuz i saw a comment on a simmilar video or maybe the same one. but someone had said they had broken theres while trying to slice something. but definately would never use them. only for display unless something went wrong in the world and i needed a weapon ;)

OR the lotr trilogy came to real life which is just a fantasy

  • @SuperZanna88 I'm selling the helm of sauron, and the gauntlet of sauron united cutlery, both brand new, and in mint condition on ebay. My ebay id is dpope2011

  • Phantom, GREAT video, awesome collection. My faves are the scimitar-style blades, and I'd like to get them but don't know the LOTR names for them. Are the two matching daggers the fighting knives of Legolas? And the longer one next to them, is that Arwen's Hadhafang? And the thicker, shorter scimitar in the second group, what's that one called? I'd like all of those (AND the money necessary to buy them!)

    Thanks for posting such a cool video. Nice, nice collection. I'm jealous. :-{

  • @Novelist1958 Yes they're Legolas' Knives and Arwen's Hadhafang. Im not entirely sure what the third blade you mean is. If it's long bladed, long handled sword in the same photo as the other two above then it's the High Elven Warrior's Sword. If it's the short blade with the scabbard in the last group photo (next to Gimli's Axe) then it's Strider's Elven Knife.

OR if it's the rusty brown, flat blade with the spike on the end, that's the Uruk-Hai Scimitar.

    Hope this helps.

  • @phantomphreaq -- You got it: "the short blade with the scabbard in the last group photo (next to Gimli's Axe)." That's the Elven Knife and it's mondo cool. Actually, I like 'em all, but am especially keen on the scimitar/shamshir style sabers. Where on earth (or Middle-Earth) did you get them, and were they insanely expensive? In particular the Hadhafang, Legolas' Knives and Strider's Elven Knife.

    Thx!

  • Is Hadhafang and Legolas's Fighting Knives sharp?

  • hello

  • aww man i love that orc sword!! :D

  • i have frodos sword

  • Just beautiful ...such an amazing pieces of art ...thanks for sharing

  • 3:15 is where its at

  • Doesnt Hadhafang some with a real edge?

  • Where did u get striders ranger sword scabbard because i have the uc strider sword but i cant find the scabbard anywhere online

  • some beautiful swords an axes an staffs there. i love gandalfs sword an the high elf sabre

  • @B0dinger thanks. Ive just added Boromir sword and the real Strider sword and scabbard to the collection. The one in this is a fake. (the ONLY fake in the whole video, all the rest are official replica's) Though when you put them together it's actually a bloody good fake lol

  • is Sauron's gauntlet wearable?

    can i still buy it?

  • @TheNLguy yes, the gauntlet is fully wearable. It's heavy, and the joints are pretty stiff, so not practical. Finger articulation is difficult. Its a stunning piece though.

You can still buy it, though they are becoming increasingly rarer. Best bet is to either google it for a localised specialist, or keep your eye on eBay.

This one I have was made by UC AFTER it went bust. So is not part of the limited edition run. But if anything, this one is rarer than the original L.E. ones.

  • @phantomphreaq thanks for the answering my question :D

  • are those swords false edged or are they pretty sharp?

  • @Nickster679 All false edged. Though saying that, the tips are pretty damn sharp, and some of the edges (particularly Striders Elven Knife) are quite sharp in places. I have had more than a few cuts :)

  • @Nickster679 awesome. sorry i mean no offence

  • how much did it cost for the gauntlet?

  • are these the official licensed versions?

  • @NiKkMV Yeah, 100% official United Cutley licensed replicas

  • How did all of that cost?

  • ALOT lol

Actually I paid full price for very few of these weapons as nearly all of them were bought from private collectors on eBay.

Saying that I think its in the region of around £1500 (about $2200 USD)

Not bad considering if I HAD bought them all brand new from retailers, id have paid over £2500 (about $4000 USD)

  • @phantomphreaq I understand. UC is the way to go.

  • @goooooogy maybe 2000$ o_O

  • can you put Sauron's gauntlet on?

  • i was thinkin bout gettin the uruk hai shmitar is itsturdy or very weak ?

  • The scimitar is made out one piece of of carbon steel, acid treated to give it that aged, rusty look. The handle has apiece of wood either side of the main steel handle, which are wrapped and binded in leather thongs, just as it is in the films. It is VERY sturdy, and pretty damn heavy

  • Nice man!! I ordered the Aragorn sword with the hard scabbard and knife. I can't wait to get it!!

  • wow ! that looks fantastic.

    sorry for the music.

    keep the videos up.

  • I have told you before how lucky you are or this is the first time .
