We do not downplay the bible as I have read from one of these comments we even have classes on it at school we know that is true and we believe the book of Mormon to be true as well. You look at Utah and other highly Mormon areas you can see that most of them are republican, but this video is a great reminder that the leaders of the Church feel that God is no respector of persons and wants all presidents to succeed in serving God's children here in the United States. @411smiths your exactly right, we use genealogy to research our family members who have not been baptized into the church, but the nearest relative to the person, non-member or member, must be consulted before hand, and if they say no, that I'd the answer.

the only way you can know which church is correct, is to experience a spiritual experience of your own. I KNOW that the church of jesus christ of latter day saints is true. i KNOW, that joseph smith restored the gospel to the earth. i KNOW that we are ALL sons and daughters of our heavenly father, and i KNOW that he loves us all. feeling the holy ghost and being inside the temple....are the BEST feelings in the world. I believe that Jesus was the Prophet of His time and that another was called after he was matyred. If we follow history, there has always been a prophet on the face of the earth except for a time called the Dark Ages. God Bless Thomas S. Monson for all the work he does for others. @BaurakAle7 That scripture says nothing about the continuation of prophets. The apostles continued to be inspired after Christ. They appointed new apostles after Christ. Christ organized His church with Him at the head. When He ascended, the apostles took on the role as prophets, seers, and revelators, with Peter leading them. Then most of the church members were killed and it fell off of the Earth. Christ organized one church, not a thousand denominations based on Biblical interpretations.

I forget where, but in the Bible, God tells of a time when the Stick of Judah and the Stick of Joseph will come together on the Earth. But, they also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. You should read the Book of Mormon. That's what I did. And though I decided not to convert, I at least can say I know what I'm talking about. While I don't follow that lifestyle, I can respect and I DO believe that they live right, and God is happy with their church.

You look at Utah and other highly Mormon areas you can see that most of them are republican, but this video is a great reminder that the leaders of the Church feel that God is no respector of persons and wants all presidents to succeed in serving God's children here in the United States. My position is simply this. When Jesus Christ was preaching his Father's word he was mocked, made fun of, and called a liar. He started preaching a new law, a higher law, that left the people angry. Jesus warned us that people would find us peculiar and weird and make fun of us. He still loved them. These prophecies have already been fulfilled. A specific prophecy cannot be fulfilled twice. When it refers to a definite time, a definite event, a definite place, and is fulfilled, it cannot be applied to events sequel to its fulfillment. Just one example of a false prophet.

Be careful, though! Mormons in AZ and in Utah can certainly drink coffee: there is nothing in the Word of Wisdom that says anything about caffeine: so, like Thomas S. @imissnepal So are you saying that if you didn't chosen to be Mormon then you become two halves of a brain stem? Yeah I know about Lord's prayer, I was totally heartbroken when he died in the cross. Oh yeah I watched the Nazareth of Passion movie, I was so moved and busted in tears. I kept saying to myself 'why would they do that to sweetest Jesus!?' Later on, I found out why would Jesus died is because he chosen to, and he successes to continue his plan for humanity. Its really amazing.

I believe that Jesus was the Prophet of His time and that another was called after he was matyred. If we follow history, there has always been a prophet on the face of the earth except for a time called the Dark Ages. God Bless Thomas S. Monson for all the work he does for others. It truly teaches us to be civil with one another no matter our religious differences. I think I will read a Book of Mormon to see what I can learn!!!

@BaurakAle7 That scripture says nothing about the continuation of prophets. The apostles continued to be inspired after Christ. They appointed new apostles after Christ. Christ organized His church with Him at the head. When He ascended, the apostles took on the role as prophets, seers, and revelators, with Peter leading them. Then most of the church members were killed and it fell off of the Earth. Christ organized one church, not a thousand denominations based on Biblical interpretations.

@BaurakAle7 Interesting, God indeed sent His beloved son to fulfill most of the necesary things in their heavenly plan, but it´s not over yet, we´re not in their presence again, back as the family we once were, all together, there still need of guidance, all the guidance we could recieve, by inspiration, scriptures, even by prophets, ancient and specially the modern ones, the actual prophet is the one who can help us to know more plenty the things God wants us to do, Amos 3:7 :-)

@knowtheonetruegospel You might be going off of things you heard from other people.. Not from GOD. Not that you have a real relationship with him anyways. (you wouldn't be talking others down if you did) Mormons are christians, and they believe that book was only translated by Joseph Smith and written by prophets just like the Bible was. So, they believe it to be the Word of God as well not just written by some guy. Also, it teaches nothing contrary to the Bible. I have searched it.

It just bugs me that some poeple claim to know what the Mormon church teaches when they haven't even read their book. Another thing to remember is that everyone interperets scripture differently. That's essentially why there are so many denominations of Christianity.

I forget where, but in the Bible, God tells of a time when the Stick of Judah and the Stick of Joseph will come together on the Earth. The stick of Judah being the Bible, and the stick of Joseph being, you guessed it, the Book of Mormon.

@SexyMan5664 One day U should read the Bible 2 C what it really teaches. It teaches nearly opposite of everything the Mormon church claims. The verses U R referring 2 R in Ezekiel 37:16-22. If U read these verses U will C they say nothing of 2 books. The nation of Israel had been divided into 2 kingdoms, & God was giving this prophecy 2 them, that He was going to make them into one united kingdom again. God is not a man Numbers 23:19 & He alone is the only God & Creator of all Isaiah 44:6-8, 24.

@carterfamily8903 I don't doubt how sure you are of the Bible. The Mormons believe the Bible to be the word of God, just as much as any Christian. But, they also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. You should read the Book of Mormon. That's what I did. And though I decided not to convert, I at least can say I know what I'm talking about. While I don't follow that lifestyle, I can respect and I DO believe that they live right, and God is happy with their church.

@SexyMan5664 I was born & raised a Mormon, I have read the entire BOM, including the extremely long drawn out boring parts of it. I have many videos uploaded that deal with some of the problems I have seen with it. Like Brainwashing verses, plagiarized chapters from the Bible, Racism, the lack of any archaeological evidence 4 any of its claims. Mormons try 2 B good, God commanded us 2 B perfect. Perfections comes only through faith in Christ John 3:18,36. Mormon teachings contradict the Bible.

You have probably been to like what, at least 4 or 5 christian churches, all of which teach things differently? Because they are all false. @bmneilson The Church that is true, is the 1 in the Bible. John 3:18, 36 Jesus is the way 2 heaven, John 14:6. We R saved by grace through faith in Him Romans 11:6 & 6:23. Mormons like most religions R very self righteous, & judgmental of everyone but themselves. Every person on this planet is a sinner Romans 3:23. God is not desiring anyone 2 perish 2 Peter 3:9. Even a Mormon who puts their total trust in Christ will B saved 1st John 5:12,13 apart from faith in Christ no man will B saved.

Monson is not "failing" at recognizing bad leadership, its called coming together to create unity, and respecting one another for what we are. contention, beating down on people, these dont help anything. a few decades ago, really any one would have called obama the spawn of satan, not only mormons. plus, it is within my understanding that mormons believe that the colored populations were descendants of cain and if they were meek and lowly in heart, they would, as well as any one who fullfilled these things, be saved.
