Thanks for the comment. They live outside in a pond with lots of room to walk around. Most turtles who live indoors are different. These guys are aggressive. I saw it eat a gecko that fell into the pond the other day.

I think this set up is great. I have had turtles for a long time.Now they are bigger I have had all sorts of issues with tanks I think you could use a little more water also. Enough so they can stand up on hind legs to eat.

Turtles need water the width of their shell, or deeper.

Turtles can't drown unless they got stuck on something.

Filters are needed to ensure proper water quality .

They live outside in semi shaded area in a 15 gallon tub with lots of land. Because it is summer and algae grows like crazy, I change it every 3-5 days depending on how dirty the water becomes.

umm if that is your turtle tank thing i sudgest u put more water.. cuz turtles have to swim. and if its just the feeding area. then that is fine
