Impossible to exaggerate how much the sacrifices of the British People mean to all of us in America. No truer friends and no finer men to stand beside. We grieve with all of you and especially the families of these young soldiers.

Thank you United Kingdom, from the depths of our hearts.

Let us all hope this war should pass speedily away, and peace be brought again to that threatened and troubled land where they were lost.

As a British Soldier I had the honour of serving alongside US soldiers in Germany and the first Gulf War, and I have visited your wonderful country several times.

Last Year in San Francisco a complete stranger said "Thank You for your service" when he saw my British vetrans badge, this has never happended to me in the UK. So I say Thank You for your friendship, lets make sure those of us who care make it count.

@timrice666 Did not see your comment till now, and wanted to say how deeply I feel your grief. Your brother's sacrifice protects us all, yes, but, closer to the bone, I know he died, specifically, protecting me and my nieces here in the U.S. His death has just that heartscalding a currency. It must be hard, and if I may, I ask that you LIVE your life now to the full for your family, yourself, and your nation. For all of us, with the same courage, selflessness and valor as did your brother.
