I can't believe there's somebody else out there who can do this! I have to say I'm a little disappointed, but it's good to know. Have you ever considered going to the Internationl Whistler's Convetion?
Never thought of doing this. Sounds pretty neat. Here is a similar, more versatile, technique: First, start humming. Then make the usual shape for whistling with your lips. Start whistling while humming! It sounds a lot like a theramin if you do a falsetto, or an electric guitar when you use a low voice. There are all sorts of strange warbling effect that can be achieved.
