  • My fave. Guitar, vocals are beyond superb! Oh! I forgot about the studio production! Very nice!

  • Very Johnny Marr--Very Cool. Great band.

  • her voice is simply incredible...the guitar riffs aren't too shabby. awesome!

  • such a misleading title...

  • oh my ... this song sent me 20 years back :-P thanks lovely girl with the lovely voice

  • Live video, audio from the album. A true favorite of mine, especially the ending vocal high wire! Just perfect, I get chills every time.

  • a beautiful, beautiful song. I could cry.

  • hi this is very very good but ithink the music is off the album and not live but i dont give a shit cos its ace !!!!!!!

  • this is sublime!

  • pure magic

  • A beautiful anthem. Lovely song. England, start making music again, please?

  • Comeback sundays.....!!!!

  • Thanks for the upload. Does anyone know if the actual live audio for this footage exists?

  • video is live, music is from the album.

  • SO good to hear this band again. We used to listen to this LP (recorded on tape)all the time in 1989. I was in the army at that time and that tape was a just as permanent a pice of equipment as my rifle was :-) Happy peace times though.

  • She lost her voice, it wasn't just love.

  • @GTRyanNet and what happened to Harriet Wheeler ? please tell me ;-(

  • @einarcha Her and the guitarist got married and had kids and vowed not to stay out of music until the kids had grown.

  • this band influenced my guitar work more than i knew....maximum rock....

  • absolute.

    magic.

  • Takes me back to when i was 20, working in TOWER records, Bayswater London when i first heard this, Eclectic album, some things just get better with age, you ain't going to get artists this this with the present IDOL programs churning out (Mostly Rubbish)musical drones year after year

  • i first heard the sundays when i was waiting at a bus stop on baker street london , and blaring out of a car window was a brilliant tune,i can't remember what song it was but i searched it out and it was the sundays:)

  • I just love this so much, the chorus has been going around in my head and I didnt think it would be on here.

Among my favourite songs by The Sundays.

  • perfect stuff.

  • Great : )

  • The Guitar sounds so much like Johnny Marr when he was in the Smiths. I love harriets Voice. What a great combination.

  • What an angel!!!

  • what a beautiful song, it's enchanting and it puts a spell on me...

  • This song used to make me cry. Don't know why.

  • a lot of their stuff makes me that way (in a good way though). I think I wore out their first 2 CD's listening so much :p

  • I did...the cds truly became corrupted from being played to much. I'm on my third set (since 1992, that's a lot).

  • Same here! love them so much!

  • "So there you go, and now you know..."

  • just magic.

  • The song sticks in my head from my friendship with someone that didn't quite bloom into a relationship. Beautiful, ethereal, poignant. Gets me every time I hear it years later. The band was one of the best at the time.

  • I miss The Sundays so much!! This band was so under appreciated. I keep coming back to this song as their best ever.

  • I miss them too. :( So ethereal, light, yet grounded........beautiful.

  • Great song. I sure do miss them. Harriet has such a beautiful voice.

  • best song ever

  • got to see them perform live in athens, ga 1990

    brilliant

    miss them

  • my fav song in reading, writing & arithmetic.... i've fallen for her when i was still in college... i almost didn't graduate frm college because i didn't care much about the world anymore... just her voice, her band, her poetry. Man, she's divine.

  • This music is such a gem. I liken it to The Smiths sound with a beautiful and talented female lead singer. No offense to Moz, because I think he is a God, but the Sundays gave me the best of both worlds and filled the void left when the Smiths made their early exit from music...

  • harriet the sound of a young playful sweet goddess

  • Loved them. And thanx for bringing up Belly and the Muses, i so love Tanya Donelly, she and Kristen hirsch (stepsisters at that) really did it for me. But back to sunadays, harriet was my fave back then, thanx for posting. Now i listen to Innocence Mission (the american Sundays).

  • I agree, there was no one who came close to the Sundays. Her voice and those guitars go right through me. Thank you for posting this!

  • youre, youre, youre- too young. i love that!

  • there were so many good bands around at this time with female leads, belly, throwing muses, the breeders, st.ettiene, madder rose...but the sundays were a bit special...saw them in dec 92 at Hull uni, asked harriet wheeler to marry me...she didn't

  • I don't know why, but this song always used to make me cry.

  • such piece of jewel ! harriet and her incredible voice, a lightning ...

  • Okay - it's live footage . . . certainly - but sound? Anyway - thanks for this!

  • I've compared the audio to the CD and yes, it is dubbed with the CD audio.

  • Great to see a Sundays video on here. I really miss this band they were excellent.

  • I think the Sundays are one of the most interesting and most forgotten bands around. They did some really excellent stuff....but you would never know it now...thanks for posting this.
