this glitch is too easy, you just need to backdash immediately when you land on the edge then do a double jump, i just tried it a thousand times for me to master it.
Backdash off the step in the entrance of the room while jumping, or jumping just before hitting the edge of the step. It's a "you know it when you see it" thing, as you'll notice (you learn the normal distance you get through a lot of failed attempts) the distance increase. From there, it's a simple air-jump up to the platform/wall jut/whatever.

I just managed to pull it off, it's tricky but can be done.
It's kind of like, as your landing on the ledge, you keep pressing right, then let go and press L, and then time your jumps right.
It's weird but it works, great for lots of early money since the candle below ALWAYS has $400

You can make a fortune using that $400 candle down there. This trick is a bit more complicated then using the Ice Fist.

I'm not sure how to do so too. I had to use auto-fire on my emulator to help me do the glitch. :D I guess you just have to time really carefully.
