I agree with Ramgate15: for a college production this is phenomenal. This is a very difficult piece & she never looses control of it -- the emotion is resonant in both the soft & intense parts of the song, and musically she nails it.

My high school did ragtime. The roles of Sarah and Coalhouse were both played by students who are also professionals. I thought that our version was amazing, but this one blew me away. Unbelievable voice, great acting. Very convincing proformance.

I saw this musical with my choir in Chicago at Drury Lane. It was sooooo sad! But I loved it! This song gave me chills. But at the end it didn't make sense because the black guy was like "Are they going to shoot me?" And the other guy was like "No" and then he goes out there and he gets shot a billion times! It scared me because I was sleeping cuz we went at like 9 and didn't end till 11. hah. LOVE THIS MUSICAL!!!

Her belting skills are amazing! I only wish the tempo was a bit faster. It felt somewhat awkward at times when she held the notes longer. But otherwise, AMAZING JOB!

Wow. Ragtime is one of my favorite shows ever and this is by far the best version of this song out there. I think it's better than Audra's other than the fact that the "forgive me" should be softer, in my opinion. FIERCE!!!
