  • To all of you who are arguing the attack didn't go this way anyway...

  • My name is KHAN..............

  • 3:41 Hahahaha brutal bastards!

  • I love their outfits.

  • it's really hard to see which one is which one since they wear the same outfit and has almost the same face.

  • Turks came from timurchinhans dignisty

  • Awesome movie!

  • why didn't they use arrows?

  • Swords were very limited and valuable items in mongolian culture. They became more common after uniting the tribes. Correct me if I'm wrong.

  • You talk a lot about Sparta, but believe me they were 150 a gay couple, two men be considered normal being lovers in ancient Greece

  • @algs229635 That was Tebe's battallion..... very famous and very proud

  • Hello from Ukraine !!!

  • 5:13 wins the most constipated face of the year award.

  • funny how most of the sword cuts don't seem like deep wounds...

  • Mongols who don't use bows??

I want a movie with nothing but archers from Sparta

  • "I want Temudgin alive" "Bitch (me too)"

  • what happened to the archers? all of chengis khan men had bows but none were used...

  • @zmoresperros2007 ask from sergei bodrov?

  • @TheBighairyfart Well, you could have given him guns, a dog named Rover and a lightsabre and it would be more accurate than 300 ;)

  • what could have happened in one missed part, that would explain an entire battle?

  • 02:50 These Mongols were the fukkin business.

  • wtf? what was the point of getting arrows ready if they are not gonna shoot them? :S

  • lol there was a 20 seconds scene at the end of the last part where temugin stocked up on bows and arrows, and yet they didnt fire any?

  • despite the minor inaccuracies, i think this is a great portrail of genghis khan's early life

  • @timogesbase watch the video "Kiratas:the himalayas race"

to see more Mongoloid race in Asia. If Mongoloid race unify, we can take over the world.

  • movie is kinda flaky and sentimental. 1st temujin was a general not a super soldier fighitng by himself inside enemy camp, 2nd peple didnt't treat him like a father and he didnt treat everyone like a son. true he knew was rewarding to his soldier, yet he was also very very stern and everyone knew he was the boss, not a loving fatherfigure to everyone. he killed 30 million chinese not by giving fatherly advice. 3rd he ran away many times from battles and also lost many battles.

  • @sarjil Ya And THATS why he has the biggest empire in the world.....Yup..

  • movie is kinda flaky and sentimental. 1st temujin was a general not a super soldier fighitng by himself inside enemy camp, 2nd peple didnt't treat him like a father and he didnt treat everyone like a son. true he knew was rewarding to his soldier, yet he was also very very stern and everyone knew he was the boss, not a loving fatherfigure to everyone. he killed 30 million chinese not by giving fatherly advice

  • @sarjil Ur right.bt it's just a movie.I think the most important thing it can show2us is how people from Genghis Knan's own culture think about him. It's funny coz my people(mainland China) don't really consider this guy is a total mofo even he did some crazy shits then;bt the westers thought he&his men're all primary monsters who eat horses alive which's a big myth.I think its good2kno people's thoughts around this world, then we can pick what we want, none says we need to take the whole ideals.

  • @tuseey thx for being civil. People will still see him differently because at the root his actions meant diffenerent things to different peoples. Obviously his own people look at him as a hero no surprise there. The least that these kinds of movie whould do is tell the truth, else it becomes a fiction like all movies. His soldiers did actually eat horses as food. 3rd everyone who came in touch with mongols were full of horror stories, many of which were true. the closer u r the worse the story

  • @sarjil really? I consider this movie's a fitiction:> I admit they do eat horses' meat bt its not like they take it as a regular military supply. Horses mean a lot in their culture, it's like during the famine people ate human somewhere bt we can't just say "the people there eat human".

  • @sarjil Generally the mongols I met(nomads) are honest, generous and considerate. I was shocked coz I have no ideals humanity can be that beautiful before, so I began to research their culture. It's really complex to say why those people were so crue during the war time. Not only mongols, all kinds of nice people can become so crue on something for some reasons, which is, pretty sad to see.

  • @sarjil

I agree with you on this part, this video does make Genghis Khan look more like a benevelot father than the cruel and strict general he actually is. Although this is a good movie, the minor historical mistakes still bother me a bit

  • movie is kinda flaky and sentimental. 1st temujin was a general not a super soldier fighitng by himself inside enemy camp, 2nd peple didnt't treat him like a father and he didnt treat everyone like a son. true he knew was rearding to his soldier, yet he was also very very stern and everyone knew he was the boss, not a loving fatherfigure to everyone

  • @magiainmortal do you know a movie where attila the hun stars?? i think hes always a villain and does not have a good movie

  • wow i saw them preparing bows yet no arrows were fired lol

  • I'm a sophomore and were currently watching this movie...we stopped halfway cos the bell rang..inwanted tonwatch the rest so I'm watching it ryt now...I don't wanna wait till Monday to watch the other half

  • epic movie. I love it. Can I find this on DVD?

  • Of course, this upcoming battle takes place, in history, AFTER Temujin and Borte have had all FOUR of their sons, and probably a daughter or two in the bargain.

  • Wow Temujin had soo many set backs in life but had passion and he kept going no matter what! Excellent role model for modern life.. Well except for the killing. lol

  • @magiainmortal thx mate

  • I advise anyone who is intrested un Genghis to read a book called Wolf of the Plains. Great film. :)

  • THEY NEVER USED ARROWS BECAUSE it would have been less effective. After Temudgins initial volley, Jemukas calvary would use overwelming numbers to simply fire back, thus pinning Temudgin and his warriors to thier laggered wagon defense. Arrows, like motars could then be fired indirectly, picking Temdgins wariors off. This way, not only did they inflict more dead, everybody now knew Temdgins name.

  • why didn't they use the arrows? what a waste...

  • They didn't have any?

  • great fight!:D

but ehm..i am new how can i make a movie by myself?:$

  • Error, god damn it..

  • i just think to his own people he was a warlord to others not and this film show his good side now jus woch da film

  • i think mongols in the ancient era were psychopaths

  • are mongols are bad or good???

  • lol

  • This movie makes me mad because of the historical inaccuracies. Such as the Mongol's were a people of the bow and would only use a sword (if they even had one) only as a last resort. And they used western looking hoses not the smaller shaggy Mongol horses. Also you barley see his brothers who play a main role in his life as general. The list goes on and on

  • Those horses are a bit more rare, and there are technical reasons for using a taller animal(more believable shots done of people 'on horseback' without horses, etc) and, well, swords are cooler.

It's alot more accurate than 300.

  • @TheGzeus 300 wasn't trying to be accurate.

  • @Shaft118 That would be the point.

  • @TheGzeus It would have been better to use an example of a movie that's actually trying to be accurate but failed. 300 can't really be compared since it was never trying to be true to history.

  • @TheGzeus well 300 is based on the graphic novel, it wasnt really supposed to be so accurate

  • People who take movies way too seriously make me mad. Like 80 % of popular historical movies are VERY inaccurate, you should get used to it.

  • He's like if Braveheart and Leonidas had a one-nighter with Jackie Chan and then one of them somehow got pregnant and went back 1000 years!

  • ok i wana know why is khan on the villian side in uncharted 2 was he evil or good cuz in this movie it looks like his good

  • "Evil", "Good"- such primitive motions. To us he is evil, to Mongols he is a hero. Whoever wins is considered a good guy. If Russians haven't stopped Hitler and he won WW2, he'd be a hero in our textbooks...

To me, personally, everyone responsible for death of another human being, other in defense- is an EVIL person. That makes Ghenghis Khan an evil person. Unfortunately, that also makes any other major reformer in the history of humanity an evil person.

  • @TheBishopSSR why on't you just simplify that by just saying the "Victors have and will always write history"? hmm?

  • @supdersquad10 ..was he a goody or a baddy? : ) lol

  • you guys are all wrong and stupid, every country mongol conqour they learn new shit ok

  • You guys all know the Mongols invented the first parachutes and grenades right?

  • that's not true

  • Maybe not grenades but parachutes indeed. When they attack the Jin heavily defend fortress and capital, their conditions were terrible and it was during winter, the only way they can win is to attack the fortress. There is a very high mountain above the fortress, Genghis Khan got the idea when he climb up there to observe the enemies so he ordered all his troops to cut off the tents and made rectangular

  • Where's the evidence behind it?

  • Nah just never mind what I just said.

  • they did

the grenades were more like molotovs with gunpowder though

  • The grenades were actually from China, the Mongolians used Chinese sciences for most of their vast projects

  • They were made by the Chinese alright; Xia Xia scientists in the employee of the Mongolian army

  • Every single day he seems to fight I hope he had his Wheetabix

  • GK probaly knew this was a fight he wasnt going to win,it was just a delaying action to let the families get away safely, had he not made a stand he would probaly be a nobody today!

  • honor?LOL!!!Ghengis Khan was a master at stragety!!notice how he sucked them into attacking in a valley,up hill,at an fortified position,it had a lot more to do with honor and intimidation!!! if they would have fired, the adavancing army would have probaly retreated thus taking the iniative away from GK!!and if they had retreated they probaly would have been out of range(not discounting the range of the mongol bow by any means)

  • Why didn't they use their bows first but let them approach?

I admit it was a bit windy but nevertheless there were enough targets.

    ^^
