Just imagine if you had just given birth and had to flee a predator aroused by the scent of your birthing of a new life. Did your goat seem like it had a stomach ache afterwards. I've heard you aren't supposed to let 'em eat it. Gives em' a bad stomach ache. Baking soda water is supposed to help. I just collected the afterbirth from my goats, and tossed it.
