I was very open to the future heads when they first came out i loved their attitude but their music never changed always the same, rubbish and tuneless plus no creativity what so ever they dried up on some beach someplace in no tune's land. I felt i had to comment on their 10 year celebration thing and i was like how can the NME even promote this? like mansun's b-sides would blow most bands out of the water yet NME constantly shat on them as nobodies i don't get it.

@dfstarborn the Futureheads do have a minimalist quality about them, some people would argue that as being consistency (me being one of those people), but I do get what you're on about. Mansun are a good band and the reason NME dogs them is because NME are a very closed-minded magazine that very rarely give bands a chance, they always review from a heavily biased angle.

mansun were a great band broke up now I'm afraid the bass player was stealing money from the bands account and the lead singer appeared as guest vocalist with the Joy formidable on a track called gray hounds in the slip also a dance tune with some dj and is currently working on solo material for his new album as for the NME they are a bunch of pretentious idiots who try to sound interesting when they've nothing interesting to say.

I absolutely love this song! The 7" single with the signed poster may just be one of the most beautiful things I own.

I think the video is about two people realising just before they get married that it would ruin their life, because they don't really belong together. The arms might be a symbol for the distance between them... well thats my interpretation.
