alex came to our club in benfleet essex twenty six years ago for an exibition night. i will never forget that night. he was half cut when he arrived but still got a 135. and what a nice chap he was. had time for everyone. and even bought me a drink nice one alex legend.
I saw Alex Play a couple of years ago, and he knocked in two seventies and a fifty. The talent definatly hasn't gone. When was this video shot and do you have any others??
He was practicing in the Spawell in Templeogue, Dublin for a tournament in Citywest about 3 months ago, true pleasure even to watch him now, even a weakened Hurricane can do alot of damage!
Pity the booze destroyed his talent!
Mind you........i would'nt have played him for money and my highest break is 73!

the way he pots balls is unexplainable really,a graceful deft yet exciting aggressive style i so sadly miss in snooker these days.

Amazing beat cancer still making 147 breaks. Apparantly he had enough Chemo to kill most people
