  • That is awesome!! Thanks for sharing this stuff.....:-)

  • Awesome footage. Beautiful geology.

    Sir-Poops-A-lot and I were watching, and he mentioned that he thought Tabby was the only one "ruffing it." ;-)

    On to part II

  • LOL good pun! Ya we had it really tough there at base camp.

  • Dude ... why would you go all of the way out to the middle of nowhere, just to watch TV?! ~:^d

  • We didn't go all the way out to the middle of nowhere just to watch TV. We just used that while at Base Camp for watching the Basketball All Stars competition.

  • You just can't go on an adventure without running into brothels. ;)

  • Nope I guess I can't LOL!

  • ROFL! Didn't want to screw them, felt I *had* to. }:-}

  • LOL! Satelite. }:-}

  • LOL yep.

  • I totally love the idea of carting in batteries, satellite receiver, laptop computer, MP3 player, digital camera, everything needed to do YouTube videos out in the frothing wilderness. It's one of the reasons why I would love to carry in a provisioned CDMA MODEM on my back along with a laptop and get out in the middle of the ANF within line-of-sight to maybe Mt. San Antonio or Mt. Wilson, some place I can reach a cell tower even if so far away it can't be seen. }:-}

  • At Ibex Pass they have a cell tower now. So you could be in Ibex Springs and transmit live on the internet over cell phone connection. I was just there and couldn't believe it when my phone rang... Ibex Springs will be in this series. You would love the place. If you want to do that I will take you. Should be a blast and I also found the open public free hot springs now at Tecopa but have no video of it as of yet. Need to get back there soon.

  • I like places where there are few to no other humans. }:-}

  • I could not believe it when after traveling all day long out in the deserts of Death Valley we end up at a desolate mining camp and find people there. LOL... I don't for the life of me know how people manage to die in Death Valley when you can't turn a corner without running into other people.

  • It takes special care and maybe training to be able to die out there some times, it seems to me. Ya gots to go some place that people won't stumble upon you, then you have to go without water in the Summer. }:-}

  • The German tourists who's bones were just found after years of being lost in DV knew how to do it. All ya have to do is be dumber than rocks I guess.

  • Way awesome; makes me home sick. Did you go to the pass? I should have sent suggestions on cool places to go in the area. Thule Spring has an old house you could have stayed in.

  • We went to Ibex Springs near Ibex Pass... That will come later in the series. We enjoyed staying at the RV park but the hot springs there sucked.

  • Sounds like the hot springs is a thing of the past, allowed to fall in to something few people would want to do. It wasn't always the way, alas.

  • I now have directions to the open, free and natural hotsprings which look much better than anything I saw in the "town". I will go there next time.

  • Looking forward to the next segment!

  • I've got to check out the China Ranch area. Looks like some interesting history in that area.

  • Oh wait till you see the rest of the area. Coming up in the next few segments...

  • Very cool, and a gorgeous landscape!

  • Interesting video man! That was a neat little whore house!

    ★★★★★

  • there's some sort of error and it won't play past 0:58.

  • Try again because it seems to be working for me and everyone else...
