How do you make pickscrapes like the ones in the very beginning of "house of wolves" by mychemicalromance? You know, the kind that sound cool, not like crap. Different strings? Tone?

its kind of funny that there is soooooo many videos on just learning how to pick slide.. i mean the name of the skill is kind of self explanatory don't ya think? not ripping on you, but im just trying to figure out how Dimebag did his pick slides, i think i found out how just by messing around but just wanted to double check

What I want to learn is how to pick scrape like zakk Wylde does, he's the best at it. Well, then again again he's the best at everything there is to do with guitars, but his pick scrapes are amazing!
