The actor playing Nero is absolutely horrific. The scene at 3:00 where he plays music and sings while Rome burns is so awkward and laughable. His entire presence in this production never felt natural and his overly exaggerated gestures and facial expressions didn't help his cause lol. I'm sure this will get deleted but I know everyone else was thinking the same thing.

Nero's reputation suffered from the same sort of lies, pessimism, and jaded thinking that causes the idiotic "9-11 truthers" to blame Bush for the attacks on September 11. I'm not a fan of George W, but nobody should get blamed for something they didn't do. Just because Nero may ultimately benefit from the fire (redesigning Rome), it doesn't mean he caused it. It's the same for Bush and 9-11. Nero's political enemies were the 64 AD version of today's "truthers".
