Yeah, ive read his book too and what struck me is through all his misfortunes he always has this positive attitude he just soldiers on regardless.He also never forgot his roots (us oldhamers must stick together)

just read his autobiography really great and what comes through is what an extremely warm and kind person he is,someone who one could aspire to.Long may eric live on

I am a big fan. Just finished reading his biography - highly recommended. What an interesting man. A genius, very talented, very funny and such a nice man.

but first time I so him i though
he was born in 1920
