i never played 2k5 and just started really playing video games seriously in the past 3 years. i've been a serious madden player for 4 years now, and i must say that it almost embarrasses me to see a game made 5 years ago and makes madden 10 look like madden 01. these graphics really aren't too far behind madden 10, and as i look at the ref and ppl models in the stands it makes madden look sad. now i wish 2k could make football again, it'd actually be realistic for once.

Madden 08' is better than Maden 09' and 2010. This might be better from what some folks say, but im an NFL fan not a fan of fake, made up teams, so im content with Madden and dispite the situation awareness minor problem....its freaking awesome!

i am not trying to knock your point blitzbacker but if a cb puts his hands up without seeing the ball he may touch the receiver and that's where pass interference comes in. that player may have decided that since i have two other defenders who see the ball and they are defending it there may be no point in me putting my hands up and risking pass interference. but then again i don't know if they coded the game that great or if the cb is just plain stupid.

This could be mixed IMO. I agree up to a point on McCulum but at the same time I don't think you can definitively say that McCulum should not make a play on this pass because he does not see the ball. While he cannot see the ball, he can see the WR and the WR shows his hands EARLY, which would give McCulum a clue to break on his hands. A DB does not always have to see the ball to make a play. He can make a play based on the WR showing his hands. Now all the other stuff = great pts.

can someone reply on this comment. One major difference i notice in apf 2k8 and madden is something similar to what he is saying. in madden if you throw a bomb, the cornerback doesn't look back at the ball. in apf 2k8 the defender looks for the ball as soon as he notices the receiver is looking for the ball. also apf 2k8 has the cornerback animations, everything from jamming the wr at the line to paying attention to the qbs moves and not the qb. if madden could get better cb animations
