Joey's character changed alot durring this show and Kevin S. Bright tried telling them, but they weren't listening ot him. He went from the lovable womanizer to a guy who couldn;t get a job or a girl. According to Bright. Maybe if the character didn;t change so drastically, there might've been a small chance. But the network shouldn've known you can't top friends.

@redthunderplus he didn't break off from friends for this, Joey started as a spinoff after Friends had ended. it wouldn't have gone on past 10 seasons regardless of them creating a spinoff.
