  • I like the pic at 5:07

  • I'm 17 now, and you were about as good at 17 as I am today. Maybe a little bit better in some areas. So my hopes are high with the thought that if I keep practicing really hard, I will be as good as you are now, which is truly exceptional, when I am a bit older! :D

  • I am watching this series while enjoying ritz crackers and hummus, as well as cherries. Relaxing.

  • In all honesty you were better at 13 than I am now and I'm 19. I suck.

  • great drawings and cute baby

  • Thank you very much!

Now at 26 I still do anime and cartoons.. I'm working on my own comic book now... But anyway, I also still draw anime. I draw lots of Naruto etc

  • Hey matt. Im 14 and I want be an artist but I suck. Any advice?

  • Hi! The best advice I can give is to say to keep at it, and to study things like anatomy, perspective, and textures. The more you draw, the better you will get. Thanks for commenting!

  • that's cool. I used to make my own "comic books" when I was 9-12. they weren't good, but looking back I wished i practiced more. I am getting back into drawing because of drawing videos like yours. keep up the good work! and thanks for inspiring me.

  • Thanks for your very kind comment!

  • i got two questions

    1. why did you draw alot of puple people?

    2. im 12 and i can draw as good as you can when you were 15 but i can never think of characters how do you do it?

    p.s your a great drawer

  • Hi! 1. At that time, I had cheap markers with no good flesh color pens. 2. I can't really explain how I come up with ideas. They just come to me.

Thanks for the kind words, and keep drawing!

  • o well thank you for awnsering my question though

  • what position did you play in base ball?

    i play catcher

  • I played in the outfield, as I recall. The truth is that I am not really into sports, but I played one year of little league because my father liked sports. My brothers are all into sports, though. Thanks again for the comments!

  • Did you ever think about penciling for marvel or DC or anyone like that?

  • Hi, Amazing! Yep, I've thought about it. I still have intentions of doing so at some point, if it's a possibility. I am planning on self-publishing my own comic in the next year. Thanks! -- Matt
