They say americans only sit around and watch television. Maybe we do. But at least I can sit on youtube and watch good television. Watch as I use my laziness powers to sift through every episode of this show until I have seen them all.
I like Jimmy! I'm quite surprised at the number of people who seem to think he's thick :( I think he's great, he seems really funny and quick when things are improvised, it's just that a lot of his stuff is scripted or prepared before hand.
@dsdepadova I'm pretty sure its just his dodgy haircut. I think getting older is probably playing a factor as well. The loss of weight was intentional- he did a lot of walking listening to audio books.
YES!! i found a season that i havent seen yet, i thought i had seen them all and then i found this, i am so happy, thank you for uploading this....sleep well sweet prince
Not in the middle but Promontory Summit, Utah. The Chinese had to build across 2 mountain ranges from the west coast while the Irish from the east coast built across the great planes so got a lot further. Most of the rails were imported from the UK.
School would have been fantastic if we had a little toy train bearing sweets to anyone who got the right answer. It would be even better if it happened at university too.
If I were in Stephen's position, I would be so tempted to tease them all by putting a sweet in the train and just as they are about to grab it, make it drive away. I don't know how he resists the urge ;P
I just love the whole element of ferociously intelligent grown-ups also acting like excited schoolboys. It's the meat and bones of the show, honestly.
@davenielsen78 Well Rob Brydon doesn't have a degree, Bill Bailey also dropped out, Alan graduated in Drama at the University of Kent. Carr is actually the most educated of the contestants. :-P
random fact for you guys, when they get scared of the train on the screen, which is exactly what the first horror film was, shown in france directed by luimiere (i forget how to spell it) and when it was shown people had never seen something moving that way on film and people would scream and be scarred thinking the train would hit them (thought u guys should know)
Well, this is known by everyone who reads even the slightest, because it's spoofed in just about everywhere. (Though your spelling and grammar is abysmal)

Huh, only just noticed Stephen's vocalised mental note;
"I'm not very good at being the Fat Controller".
^_^ never thought I'd hear him reference Thomas on QI of all things.

But I'm gonna take away 5 points for not being sure of how to spell lumiere, even though you got it right.

thats actually a myth, theres no proof of that ever occuring.

@NewAgeEagles Technically, it wasn't a horror film, just a moving picture.
