I am just surprised she disappeared and didn't adjust to the Internet Era. As long as she trained and as good as she was, I can't imagine she would lose her passion and quit contortion so abruptly.
Ula was very popular at one time then suddenly disappeared. Strange that she seemed to love performing then she suddenly stopped producing new shows. Anyone know what happened to her? She would be a great inspiration for other mature performers.
You are right! I had "snail mail" contact with her for some years when she was in Miami and saw her in Los Angeles once but she never had internet and I lost contact. Of course with me living in New Zealand the location was a problem! Ian (Original "hamfist" with this name for many, many years unlike "Theoriginalhamfist" who has had that name for only a few days!).
she dissapeared after i bucked her to death in an odd position.took me three days to get out of her and untangle myself.....
