It wasn't possible to base the Saturn directly on Model 2 hardware without making the console more expensive than it already was; remember that Model 2 was Sega's state of the art arcade platform at the time of the Saturn's development. But they did do an excellent job with all of the Model 2 games that got ported to the Saturn, and of course there's Sega's extremely successful ST-V arcade board that was based on the Saturn itself.

It tells me that I need a newer version of Windows, which mean it was compiled/developed with something that automatically excludes older versions of Windows, typically for no valid reason. Which is why I asked about the system requirements.

I never realized there were so many versions of the classic Daytona USA. Nice to see my girl Lei Fang included in this latest tribute. Sky Target looks like an After Burner spinoff. A few of those are games I haven't played before and want to. Those include: Fighting Vipers, Last Bronx, Rail Chase 2, Sega Touring Car Championship, and Motor Raid.

Excellent video, the M2 emulator is superb, Daytona being my favourite, although it's the most difficult one to set up.

Still at least by having to configure Daytona, it shows the user that you can go in and set the dips so you can choose the difficulty level for games, so you have a chance of actually lasting for more than 2 minutes at a time.

5 out of 5 for me, vid and emu.

They are all equal in GFX quality.

@lucisac however, some of the games still have graphics issues, such as Dynamite Cop (sometimes the cutscenes featuring close-ups of Wolf Hongo, or the president's daughter [Caroline Powell] make them look like zombies because either their jaws are missing, or in some cases, the eyes pop out of their faces)
