Blessings to all the new parents and the support teams. It was suggested, by the medical team, to place my DS baby in an institution when he was born 34 years ago. He was treated as an alien rather than a baby by the physicians

down syndrome people can be very friendley kind and ecepting of others. iv got aspergers and went to a school for people with disibilities and iv met down syndrome people who are really nice. the point is iv seen some terribal comments i wont name them but i think to make fun of those people is sick and just absalutley low and terribal. you have to feel sorry for those people with those challanges and wish them the best in life.

Is it really so much to ask people not to laugh at others??? People with Downs are people first, and each is different. I know plenty of people with down syndome, and all of the people I know are very caring people, with great personallities. I'm disappointed to see so much ignorance posted here. If you can't say something nice, Don't say anything!

Sad about the negative comments. These reflect upon the people who make them. Such folk have been conditioned to hate. Those with disabilities contribute more to our communities than anyone may realise. How much does your local smart gangster contribute? When you think of things like this, the so called "smart guy" is the true parasite.

down synndrome is not funny as with all people things they do and say may be funny, wisdom is the ability to know the difference between funny and mocking, and btw the downy comment was pretty lame, learn to be more subtle in your humor, its called wit, that was just a cheap attempt at humor at the expense of someone weaker than yourself , the very definition of cowardess
