St. Elizabeth's legacy continues. The convent she founded - Martha & Mary Convent has been reopened, the church and other buildings have been restored and her work of helping orphaned girls and the sick continues. There are now over 20 nuns doing the work. Anyone who goes to Moscow should visit the convent and leave a donation to support their work. It is only a few blocks south of the famous Tretyakov art gallery.
And imagine, just imagine, if she knew she didn't need to suffer and her beautiful faith that was so precious to her had led her to the understanding that she her martyrdom wasn't necessary....

Recently The book about Elizabeth is translated by Korean Orthodox Chruch.
