Michael MacDonald saved the Doobie Brothers from extinction in 1975. The Doobie Brothers were going the way of the Beatles did in 1969 by 1975 with Tom Johnston's serious health crisis.
djbuddyloveclassicrr, as we learning int he 90's, blinking text is a huge distraction and well, if I may be so bold, off-putting. Appreciate the studio version of the song though. THanks!
I love how one side of the comments are all just respecting the song while the others are attacking the different sides of occupy Wallstreet, bit comical
@ @nanaverm: I'm not exactly sure how you can taint this song with the Occupy movement. You obviously haven't ever REALLY listened to the lyrics (which I find truly misguided).
How hard would it be to leave America for a country that already practices wealth redistribution and let the majority practice the life you look at as foolish and pointless? At least so we'll have the chance of wealth instead of living in poverty or even if lucky middle class in a communist country. Oh, and I am one of the people who voted down on your comment (I didn't mean to vote up for it).
wow all i have to say is thank god for Michael MacDonald! He has the voice of a fucking angel!!

@nanaverm Please don't taint this song by trying to glom onto it for your own misguided "purposes".
