  • I'm eating a huge burger while watching this lol. But seriously though, it makes wanna work out more when I see videos like these.

  • I think I saw someone from Australia who did this in 2009. I can't remember his name. Any one knows?

  • dude this is incredible. Not a lot of work out gurus are up for the challenge, simple because it is extremely difficult but also because it jeopardizes their own vanity. This challenge is TRULY inspiring for ANYONE if you can do this- than anybody else can. This is also a great case study about nutrition- and so we can realize what exactly makes us over weight. Good luck brother! i just subscribed.

  • Like this if you think he looks like Ben Stiller

  • xD

  • never though eating could be also quite painful when you are not feeling to actually eat..

  • Meu ídolo...

  • He is bored

  • its a buff ben stiller!!!!!!!

  • Does this include no walking around the mall and the town or what ever you need to do?

  • awesome! I know how it is(was) to be fat too. Last year i weight 116kg (~255lbs) (i was 17years old) and within 10month I lose 46kg(101 lbs) by eating correctly and healthy. I will never forget this year. my life changed alot, i changed my lifestyle by going to the gym and changed my look. My character has changed too! Suddenly my classmates ( one year after leaving school) didn't recognized me and foreign people(at gym, street and facebook) heart about my story and asked me, how to lose weight.

  • @ELBARTOmovies ehm TBH with u im 17 years now and i weight the same as u 123 and im thinking to lose some weight so can u tell me how to?

  • @sabufinisher well lots of ppl asked me. Its not as hard as you think. All you have to do is count the calories (correctly) and calculating your calories, that you burn in a day (there are lot of calorie-calculators in the internet (im german, so i only know german sites^^). For example you burn 3000kcal(calories) a day, you have to eat less (for example 2500kcal) So you would safe 500kcal, thats 3500kcal in a week (1kg bodyweight = 7000kcal), so that would be 0,5kg in a week

  • @sabufinisher (part two of my answer) so you can lose weight without doing sports. (but sport help to burn more calories). Try to eat the right things (low fat, low sugar) and try to eat less then your body actually burn. I hope i could help you, although i've tried to give a short answer^^ (PS: By drinking water and giving up eating candy you save a lot of calories, but you dont have to, if you are eating under your daily need)

  • @ELBARTOmovies THX dude cuz im rly trying to find some help to lose weight where ever i can find (even in net)^^

  • Most fat people cant eat a dozen donuts...

  • I guess I'm too late lol

  • omg dude. Don't do it! You're perfect the way you are...and you don't have to prove Nothing to Noone! lol

  • hes sooooooooooooo fineeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • man that is a lot of doughnuts.

  • hes doing a lot of us a favor

  • HE IS MY HERO

  • I am 500000 viewer :D:D:D:D:D

  • There is NO EVIDENCE in the scientific literature that dieting and exercise affect body weight much over the LONG TER,M.

They are oif extremely limited potency. Voluntary factors are of extremely limited potency to affect body weight substantially over the very long term

  • @Razwell yeah if you stop... but if you keep doing it... then it will last.

  • @Razwell Can you please shut the fuck uppp?

  • This guy, as all other "fitness professionals" has NO CLUE about morbid obesity. It is extremely complex chronic condition.

He is making the scientifically baseless ASSUMPTION that Morbidly obese do not exercise or eat badly.

Obesity is as genetic as height (Dr. AJ Stunkard)

This guy is going to deliberately RAISE his fat mass set point STUPID IDEA from someone ignorant of the SCIENCE on this subject.

  • I wonder if he'll get stretch marks from gaining weight that fast.

  • How the Globo Gym business going?

  • there's no words for how much brave and awesome you're man....

    Thank You

  • How dumb does one have to be to do this?

  • @HydroBlast56 your just mad because he can make himself fat and then fit again and u cant stop being fat

  • those donuts look like krispy kreme mmmso good!

  • Comment removed

  • you're going to get a cancer! ^^ congratulations!

  • He should've joined the guy over @ EpicMealTime to gain some serious weight.

  • man, whit all the respect, but when you'll be fat, you just take L- Carnitine and train, when you get the wanted weight take some amino acids and train again for 4-5 months you'll be in great shape ;))

good luck whit your attempt and if you succeed I'll do it too

  • you are awesome :)

  • I stumbledupon your website ! thank you stumbleupon !

  • i first heard of this guy through Google Reader!

  • Mmmmmmmh. Donuts.

  • At Globo Gym, we're better than you, and we know it!

  • @atothek25 And I'm better than everyone in your gym combined. Good fight.

  • @atothek25 he looks so much with ben stiller

  • You do look a lot like Ben Stillers older brother who trains him.

  • I love fitness as well as you do. I admire your self-sacrifice and really cant wait to see your journey back from fat to fit.

  • he is ben stiller from dodgeball

  • Comment removed

  • I think our friend Drew here is in for a rude awakening. He's going to see how hard it really is. He is going to recondition his mind and body to be fat which will have everlasting consequences. Your body creates fat cells that will never leave. You will have to fight that much harder to keep the weight off. Don't ruin your body if you don't need to.. Please.

  • @bet2001 Uhh... his fat stage is already over. He's getting fit now. And if anything, it will be easier because he already had substantial muscle mass before.

  • Oh god I really hope you can do it.

It hurts me that you would do this on purpose when I find it so incredibly painful to lose it.

Please please make it back to fit!

  • Jesus. Watching you eat the donuts and seeing you now, I just want to go back in time shake you and say no! Like Morgan Freeman to his young self in Shawshank Redemption. Do you know how long I avoided sugar and beer, and trained just to lose 20 lbs! Good luck!

  • haha only a married man can pull this off :)

  • I will follow you . Thanks I hope I can sucess like you!

  • just saw this on the news and imma try to follow him back 2 fit

  • Very Inspirational!!!! Not too many people would do what you are doing for the reason that you are doing it!

  • No, no, no, what did you do! :D I never gain weight on purpose! :O

  • I´ll follow him and I try to test if he say the truth. We ´ll see

  • Потрясающий мужик! Я верю, верю в то что я встану и начну бегать в ближайшее время... Перестану малодушничать... То что сейчас - уже за гранью добра и зла... Я верю в то что смогу... Глядя на него, с его помощью...

  • He look like Scott adkins(Yuri Boyka)

  • quien te pillara asi hijo del alma!

  • hahhahah yeah ben stiller, well its the lil kid from that movie with ben robert deniro it was called like big happy family :D

  • Mmmm doughnuts!

  • You're so hot

  • Do the Blue Steel look! Seriously, when do you start your program to lose the weight?

  • Derek Zoolander?

  • О чем?

  • Thumbs Up if Ynet brought you here.

Good luck Drew. we are all rooting for you.

  • BEN STILLER!?

  • @OrCohen93 כן, מה ששמעת. בן סטילר.

  • @yugo441 גם אותך וואינט הביא לפה?

  • @OrCohen93 כן :)

  • Subscribed

  • First I thought you are just a douchebag but after watching all your videos I realised u are very inspirational and think serious about making people fit and healthy!

    Keep up the videos coming!

  • Bro, i hope you get back to this shape again!

  • Ben stiller's younger version, haha :D

  • Holy snap you look like Ben Stiller dude. You could be his twin..

  • i like the way you are, fit or fat.

  • BEN STILLER???????

  • i know :) i like your experiment ;)

  • why????

  • great luck, I was injured in combat and lost the body I had, I was a fit fighter and now am 30 lbs over weight. I look forward to following the rest of your journey. Thank you for this opportunity for us to watch and learn....

  • Hey you look like a sexy version of Ben Stiller, good luck with the rest of your journey.

  • ZOOLANDER

  • you look like Ben Stiller!!! LOLZ

  • If I didn't see it I wouldn't believe it. No one would be that crazy. I am intrigued.

  • Hey guys, just so you know. This guy doesn't exactly know much about metabolism. He is really fit both because he has a great metabolism and he worked hard. Just working hard isn't enough.

  • Bravo!! can't wait to follow your success!!

  • BEN STILLER!!!

  • @djpham27 EXACTLY!!!

  • @djpham27 that is the EXACT thing I was thinking through this whole video...

    Drew...that looked painful.

  • Wow you totally copied PJ James from Australia. Nothing original here!

  • would sukc if he got fat and then got lazy and stayed that way

  • This has already been done. PJ James did this some time ago.

  • Ben Stillers younger bro

  • Pretty inspiring, gonna send this to ma friends, lol

  • OMG is Ben stiller

  • Wow - I'm only hearing about you now - and will be catching up on all of your weekly videos. I am a diabetic mentor at Diabetes one dot com and one thing as we all know - Type 2 diabetes is on the rise around the world due to weight issues & incorrect eating - what you are doing will encourage folks who need to lose abit of weight - to give it a go! Of course, you'll have an easier time then they will shedding the weight eventually - but still - thank you for doing this!

  • Its a good idea. The only difference is.. It'll be easier (and quicker) for you to get back to your normal size, cause of a thing called 'muscle memory'.

  • Here is a suggestion... you can eat HEALTHY foods and GAIN weight.. such as coconut milk and lots of avocadoes or potatoes - you don't have to eat processed foods like donuts to get fat. You can eat lots of brown rice for carbs and you can eat lots of nuts... a whole bag and still gain the weight without exercise but not have to fill your body with processed foods and such - just a thought. PEACE.

  • What's your BF lvl?

  • OMG are there seriously people who sit down & eat a dozen doughnuts at once? Just made me sick watching him eat that many LOL

    Take care of yourselves people.

  • Thank you for responding I really appreciate the time. I need a different example. Let's say, I could spend $5.00 at a fast food place for a burger, fries, and a small drink for dinner. What could I buy at a supermarket for $5.00 for dinner. This always seems to be my problem. Egg whites cost more than eggs. Wheat bread, nuts, berries, organic juice, always costs more than White bread, frozen dinners, pizza. That's a huge dilemma for me. Could you use the $5.00 example? Thanks Drew!

  • You're so sexy!

  • nice!!! good look man!! don't give up!!

  • Very impressive! :)

  • One thing I'm curious on is how many hours per day will you be exercising?I've seen tv episodes of "Heavy" where a guy will come in at 500+ lbs and after 6 months lose around 175 lbs. Well that's not surprising when you're in a strictly controlled environment and you're working out 4-5 hours a day. You have nowhere to go but down in weight. For a lot of your supporters, a practical schedule is probably 5-7 hours a weeks and they just might see the results that you'll be getting. Anyway Good Luck

  • good luck

  • Lost brother of Ben Stiller! Great idea by the way!

  • I think its just me, but he kinda looks like a very fit version of Ben Stiller

  • @DaeTang Nope, its everyone now LOL!

  • Absolutely brilliant project and it will give guidance to others. It will also give you an insight into weight loss and fitness. I hope everything goes to plan.

  • Hey Drew, thanks for doing this for all of us. One of my biggest concerns when you get back in shape is the amount of money you will spend on better food. Are you going to be able to get in shape spending the same amount of money that you used to buy cheap fat food? Healthier food cost more, which is why we become overweight. Can you show us how to get back in shape without spending more money and buying supplements? I'd love to learn. I'm on a budget and cant afford all of the health foods.

  • @mixedbreed You don't need 'health foods' to eat healthy. I recommend cooking at home. That way, you know exactly what goes in your food and save loads of money. For example, if you want to make a pita, eating at a restaurant/fast food place can take you to a bit under 10 dollars, which is ridiculous for something which might not even fill you up. However, if you took that money and went to the grocery store and bought the ingredients, you can make a whole bunch of them at home.

  • FINALLY... a trainer who will KNOW what its like to be fat before telling you how to get in shape. this is how you motivate

  • Hey man I want to wish you good luck. You are one of my biggest inspirations for losing weight, and building muscle. Subbed & thanks!

  • Bad experiment, he should have tried to make the carb diet the same amount of calories. 2900 calories on the "healthy" diet, 3950 calories on the high carb diet. The extra 1050 calories a day accounts for 42 of your 70 lbs. How many calories do you burn during a normal workout, 700 calories a day would account for the other 28 lbs. If you are really trying to make a comparison between diets, then you should be consuming and burning the same amount of calories. :ob

  • dude you remind me of ben stiller off of dodgeball lol! you look just like him haha! i respect what your doing! you just got me thinkin of this movie

  • thumbs up if Yahoo brought you here

  • The photos on teh website are bullshit.

I have taken them into photoshop and scaled them my matching pupil width and size. the head on the fat photo is smaller than the head in the skinny photo. the body on the fat photo is 4 inches taller, and the muscle mass lossed, would have taken years to drop like that..

  • Get ready for all those STRETCH MARKS!!!

  • The problem is you are a fit person who does not have food addiction as most obese people have. Trust me I know how a life time of being fat is and I also know you can lose weight . I just hit 302LBS lost myself in 2 years ,but I had surgery after losing 125lbs. Its not easy but it can be done. You have an extra edge most Obese people don't have.

I wish you luck on your journey.

  • You're the first person I've ever met who truly inspires me.. because you're willing and putting yourself out there in order to understand. Truth be told, I never even thought of that-- and even if I did, who could ask such an extreme of someone? You are a brave, brave.. and just beautiful soul. I hope I can stay right there with you as you get fit once again. But just for this alone, I have no words for how much I respect and admire you. Thank you.

  • good luck! i believe in you bro

  • Hello Drew, I'm a 47 year old man and always worked out, I'm married with two kids so my life is very busy. I'm ready to work out and get myself back in shape again, I may not have the six pack and the sexy body like I use to, my main purpose is to get back in shape. Will you be posting daily work outs and food diets. I'm ready to begin working out with you, what day will you begin working out. Alot of people will be very interested to see how you look in six months. Thanks.

  • wish u can hellp me reduce weight damn hard..

  • Sounds like a great idea but is this your only job? I believe to truly put yourself in the shoes of the everyday person, you should (at the very minimum) take a full-time job at a call-center. This will help you better understand what the common person goes through.

  • I'd love to see him eat at least 1 deep fried candy bar. I've heard they taste really good but it makes me gag to think about it.

  • Good luck Ben Stiller. We believe in you!

  • uhhh what is the point, isnt it obvious?? of course with the right diet and exercise you could loose weight and gain muscle....dude i hope you are getting paid for all this or you just wasted your time

  • Dude, watching you try to eat the donuts was torture! I still can't believe you're going through this.... Good luck with coming back! This'll be an amazing story!

  • He looks like ben stiller

  • Damn, you are hot! :D hehe :)

This is nice what you're doing, really inspire me because I have to lose some kilos and it's damn hard. I was training really hard about one month and eating healthy and in month I lost only half of the kilo! I was terrified..I wanted to give up, but then I started to lose weight. I lost 4 kilos and I'm starting to like the way I look! :)

  • yahoo brought me here

  • will you continue to take steroids in order to keep your muscle and maybe even gain some since youre not working out anymore? you shouldnt keep that from people :)

  • He looks like magnum....

  • You're making a personal sacrifice to help people and gain a better understanding of what it's like to be the kind of person you're trying to help. I think that is incredible. I feel so inspired by you already. So excited to see your transformation back to fit and to follow you in that journey!

  • It'll be interesting to see what you do for fit stage again, Ive always had trouble with losing weight, although mine is more motivational and expense driven, cant seem to afford good vegetables and fruits and processed crap is only something like 2 dollars for something thatll feed me for a week. But I tihnk ill be paying attention to this and try to use this to motivate me to work out more.

  • How possible would it be to get a ripped six pack abdomen within six months?

  • haha still props on the 7 donuts i feel like shit after only 2

  • do you get stretch marks from this?

  • Man its hard to not turn gay just from watching this @_@

  • @Gihan84 What do you mean?

  • Great idea

  • definitely a big step for somebody to do something like this. I would be worried about the stretch marks and also health issues later on in the long run, i hope this teaches few individuals thing or two about their style. I wish you the best and I want to see how this turns out.

  • Some of these comments are ridiculous. This guy is taking the extra step to help others who have weight issues. First of all, someone said their large and cannot eat 12 donuts in one sitting. Thats because you've accumulated it. He's gaining in a shorter period of time so he's just trying to cram in as much as he can. This is the most noble thing I've seen any trainer do, especially considering you'll be posting the progress for free. That is epic. You won't see Jillian Michaels do that...

  • I would take this seriously if better language was used. The word fat is offensive to those who actually are heavier. The name of your site, you calling it your "fat" stage and your comments of , "people letting themselves go, bad eating habits." Maybe what you should realize is why people are obese, sometimes it's not as simple as choosing to eat bad food, sometimes it's because no one bothered to educate them on proper eating habits. Maybe affording healthier options is not possible.

  • @jujarino I agree with some of what you are saying but the simple fact that he is willing to put up or shut up is extremely commendable, a lot of people could care less what some workout nut has to say about losing weight when they have never had any bad eating habits, never had a problem working out, and never been heavy. As far as him using the word fat, well if you're fat...you're fat, I'm fat and I don't pretend not to be, I also couldn't have eaten seven donuts let alone the whole dozen.

  • a dozen donuts....This is a perfect example of how most obese people are incorrectly viewed. I'm 295lbs, and I can't even eat a dozen donuts in one sitting. It's just absurd. I'm really looking forward to seeing you go through the fit stage though.

  • Hey buddy! I am with you on your 6 months going back to been fit. I'm 6", 25 years old, around 250 pounds. My goal will be to loose around 30 to 40 pounds. You will get in shape and I hope to GOD that I can too. It'll mean a lot for me to get into shape for once in my life!

Can you please not stick to only showing GYM workouts? Can you show some simple and natural ways to work out from home or outside? Do you believe you will get your cool abs in 6 months? If you Can, I hope that I can too.

  • Well as your last challenge you can see if you can eat that whole batch of donuts.

  • how tall are you?

  • @puzzypirate he's 6"2 and 190lbs in this vid. check out his website

  • well im going to follow you Journey i just subs too you channel so lets see.

  • Losing weight...keeping it off....avoiding foods that are "bad"...these are all very deep struggles for me. i appreciate you taking such a big risk to understand people like me instead of just "preaching" at me. I am prepared to venture with you on the fat to fit again. here goes nothing

  • hope for the best man

  • If you need to lose 100lbs and don't want to exercise or have little time visit body-visalus (dotcom)

  • @professionalblogger I know it sounds crazy, but I'm not doing it just for me to better understand overweight struggles. If I can get a few people to live healthier lifestyles through this journey then it will be worth it. I know it's dangerous, but it's a risk I'm willing to take and hopefully people will become more aware of just how unhealthy we are in this country (USA). Thanks for the support.

  • @fit2fat2fit It's just crazy, bro. Lol. I freaked out a little bit, but I think anyone with common knowledge would. I'm sure I'm not the first to tell you this. I just hope that you can get back into shape, man. That's all. Just stick with it, and try not to get injured. To get back into shape, will you be doing P90X or P90X diet guide by any chance?

  • @fit2fat2fit You are a brave man...but 1 thing i am not sure you are aware that when you get fat your skin streches,,, duno if u will ever be able to have that 6pack without surgery,,,you can lose waight but slopy flopy skin stays....but never the less you are brave and explorer in a sense...i am totaly with you(i just hope slopy flopy dont happen and you regret) also be carefull there were been studys made that prove that junk food starts some kind of addiction, so be strong in head also;)luck!

  • @fit2fat2fit , Drew I think people know how unhealthy this country is, but the problems and concepts go way beyond that. A mile from my house are 5 fast food restaurants. The only place to get fresh food is this local grocery store chain called "Fresh and Easy". They probably have GMO food at this place, and even their prepared foods are loaded with salts, sugars, bad fats. Where's the locally grown food and fresh markets like Europe has? The other problem, healthy food isn't convenient or tasty.

  • @fit2fat2fit i think its a great idea, people see before and after pics but never really believe them, just as over weight individuals believe no one fit really understands their struggle so i do commend you.

  • @professionalblogger bro, you look like shit. This guy is probably below 10% bodyfat at this time. He definitely knows what he's doing, plus you can see this as a bulking routine
