Does anyone out there know the ancient Greek name for the mode in which this haunting music is written? It appears to be identical to a mode I know from traditional Jewish music - in Klezmer music, this scale is known as the "Misheberakh" mode (as can be heard in the Klezmer melodies, "Odessa Bulgar" & "Chusen Kala Mazeltov": D,E,F,G#,A,B,C,D)
