  • Thanks for using the video and for the comment. The opening is really built for high schoolers who need some context to understand just how different the Jazz Age was from anything that had come before. I could see where it might be obvious to college students who should already understand the material, but high school kids (like I teach) sometimes think things were always so.

  • This documentary has been notoriously underviewed, considering the amount of effort put into making it.

    I'll try to get the word out.

  • Thanks, Brother. You comment is heartening, and I am glad you found something in this piece. It took freakin' forever to make, and it has been underviewed, as you said. My students have found it interesting, but I have sort of wondered why more teachers haven't paid it some attention.

  • Wow, the music is great on this. This had to take forever to make. The the 1920's remains one of the most interesting parts of American history for me, and I love the way you use the photographs of fashion to discuss the change in women.
