  • great form and flow for such a huge guy

  • @AndyHarglesis semms like you are very tough behind your keyboard, why didnt you fought Lebanner in the K-1 if you are so good????

  • What do you know about Kiai ? Take a look on Wiki.

  • Fucking BEA ST

  • dam it, i was shadow boxing and pretending it was him and got knocked out...

  • get one of those and you got knocked the fuck'out

  • He's like 120 kgs... How does he move like that

  • @CarloGoldonis actually he is 120 kgs, i made the same question to myself, hes huge and too fucking skillful

  • Very good shadow boxing. Very good fighter

  • It is more like a soft KIA.

  • Healthy but stupid piece of meat with absence of technics and protection

  • Sounds like fucking hydraulic actuators when he breaths!

  • coaches force students to exhale hard like that so it becomes habit, the exhale draws the diaphragm in to help you eat a counter to the body with out getting the air knocked out of your lungs and to turn your hips into the strike, so fast for a guy his size

  • coaches force students to exhale hard like that so it becomes habit, the exhale draws the diaphragm in to help you eat a counter to the body with out getting the air knocked out of your lungs and to turn your hips into the strike

  • he's really fast!

  • Some armchair warrior making fun of Le Banner? Haha! Le Banner will chew you up and spit you out. You wouldn't even rate as a warm-up for him.

  • dont blink, keep those eyes open

  • You are supposed to breath like that, that's the correct way, so if anybody is making fun of this guy, i suggest you go play with your gameboy or xbox...

  • Fast

  • @187YKZ893 ....And mean!!

  • noticed he didnt rly use footwork though thats important while shadowboxing

  • here's my jerome lebanner impersonation : "shhh shhhh shhh shhhh shhhh "

  • @noigraud if you knew how to fight you would understand why he makes that sound.

  • That knee strike reminds me of Sagat from Street Fighter.

  • Move pretty good for a big dude.

  • le banner was one bad dude! especially on the K1 computer game for PS2!

  • The best whoever did it, Jerome Le Banner.

  • Why doesn't he ever throw body hooks or undercuts? In my class, which is pretty isolated, we usually don't because most of the time you can throw a body punch, you can throw a knee just as easy, which is usually a better choice.

I wonder if he came to the same decision, that knees work better than body punches.

  • trop fort le banner

  • Wont anyone translate these awesome clips for us :S Even with subtitles or in the info in right...just cant fucking understand fucking French :S Cmon, take one for the team :)

  • sch sch sch! i wanna fight him even if i die ;D

  • Can't believe one of the toughest guys in the world was a Frenchman...DAmn........

  • lol whats wrong with that ;)

  • lol if u want to look at the toughgest guys in the world go more for fedor or anderson silva

  • dont matter about his nationality, he's a hard training and dedicated fighter and france has several great fighters....georges st pierre is french canadian for example.

  • @anselmochevelle good point but lol french canadian has nothing to do with france...people in quebec province canada speak french. french is second official language of canada

  • this is no cardio kickboxing done in a fancy gym he is using his full anaerobic power like in a real fight I think...

  • @dallasjock999 yuup haters and ignorant ppl should try this type of shadowboxing, most of them would be death tired after 1 minute, this type of SHB simulates a fight, some ppl hate the method cause they can't deal with the fatique its causing when its done properly, jerome combines it with the classical SHB or methodical shadowboxing.

  • @lawman1971b What does that mean? And I don't see how that breathing technique simulates actual combat. I breathe like that most of the time when I shadowbox, and so do many other boxers. It just channels more energy.

  • @thegreekmatt in this type of shb he uses his full anaerobic potential, his punches are quick and crisp, that makes it more though and it makes you tired much faster cause you trow punches with full energy and u have to bring the arm back very fast like in a toe to toe sparring session or fight, it´s just variation of shadowboxing, some ppl like it some ppl hate it. every fighter has his own body type and fighting style, what works for some ppl doesn´t work for another person.

    give it a try!

  • @lawman1971b Whatever. I never do anything without intention, that's why it doesn't really occur to me that other people train at low intensity. I understand for before a fight, but other that, I always put everything I have in training, even shadowboxing.

  • @thegreekmatt It is important to start slow in everything: pads, shadowboxing, in the warmup round... Then intensifying... Good balls-out in the very beginning is never a good idea regardless of cardio

  • @thegreekmatt i never said that his breathing makes it more realistic, the way his doing it makes the difference, bear in mind that jlb is a very though and strong muay thai-k 1 fighter, regardless what some idiots and keyboard warriors say about him.

  • ray sefo and mark hunt knocked this guy out cold.

  • when the shtf can I have him on my side please?! lol

  • hard man. but short punch

  • @hknclskn1

dont speak unless you have something intelligent to say

  • man this is the kinda of person you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. he's a beast, he moves like a welterweight. i heard about him isn't he like the cream of the crop in kickboxing?

  • he used to be one of the best in K-1.

  • this guys like tall buff fast and strong!!! and a good puncher!

  • for a man his size this is freakin impressive. I mean coordination and speed of this man is on the limit! Tyson, btw, is not as tall as this guy.

  • Pretty good, closes his eyes while hitting tho

  • he "was" a stud le banner is like 40 now

  • man, he is 36 dude! noit 40 yet.

  • The man is a supreme athlete... But... He's a lost soul (babylon A.D.)

  • Somebody said JBL's technique is flawed? Shape up to JBL and see if you can expose those 'flaws'.. JBL - a man who is 120 kg's of muscle with very good hand speed and movement..

  • nah i think some1 said that he closes his eyes while striking and thats a big no no in combat sports , you have to know what you're hitting

  • Another reason fighters make the 'sshhh' noise when throwing a punch is to exhale all of the air from their lungs so a punch/kick to the mid section doesn't leave them winded and out of breath - which can make you take a knee

  • this dude is awesome.

  • Now i know who Sagat looks like :p

    minus a scar!

  • best shadow boxing o the web are this one and emelianenko's one..

  • If you think that, than you have never seen any of tysons vids

  • t'es l'plus fort JEROME

  • The uncrowned king

  • i like his punching power, i though i read somewhere he had training from evander holyfield

  • master

  • He's in the fucking zone!

  • IDOL

  • damn right!!

  • Haha, its funny to see idiots joking with Jerome Le Banner about his breathing. If you face him you'll probably piss yourself from one of those schhh!!

  • your a fucking fag. this guy is a pro. your a joe. and i'm your daddy. a regular guy cant beat this guy but they'll make you shit out your mouth you fish

  • @oisashko That kind of breeding can often be used to conserve the air and to release only its excess while striking so if you get hit in stomach you won't get pumped out ...

  • @RexBaselio breeding?

  • @TheLagunaSunrise Mea culpa , English grammar teacher , its breathing ...

  • @oisashko yeah i wouldn't mess with him

  • @oisashko

    Indeed :)

Hes a beast in real live on tv he looks smaller cause all the K1 fighters are huge but hes huge not quiete high or something but yust huge hands, arms legs and shoulders.

  • His SSSHH means shut up before he fucks you up.

  • lol

  • @uddiptab rofl

  • @uddiptab Thats perfect dude!

  • actually the 'shhh' noises are him performing the 'Valsalva maneuver' whereby you forcefully exhale against a closed air way which compresses the abdomen and increases your power through muscular 'irradiation'. All competent strikers do it in some form as well as weight lifters and anyone else who has to exert maximal force. It's the same as the 'kia' noise that Karate guys do when you see them breaking blocks, though the specific noise you make doesn't matter.

  • everybody whos talkin shit about his breathing knows a shit about martial arts and should shut up.

anyway, it was very nice to watch him training, his punches were very fast and very powerful

  • he's the best striker ever, strong, brave, skillful, he's just the best, my respect

  • You may say sssh.. but he'll ssshh your ass

and just like cristiann11 said it's just a breathing technique that doesn't tire you out.

  • First he those SHHHHHSHHHHHHHHH because hes breathing, Second dont if he doesnt breath he can tire himself out and in a real fight he would loose if he doesnt breath, Third stfu idiots who make mean comments about his SHHHHHHHHSHHHH because hes suppose to do that, not that u no anything about shadow boxing.

  • shhshhhhhh

  • šššššššššš šššššššššššš šššššššš ššššššššššššššššššššš ššššš ššššš šš š š š š š š š ššššššššš

  • that's a bull u don't wanna fuck with.

  • hes in a library SHH SHH im reading SHSHH SHH SHHH be quiet SHHH SHH

  • lol

  • lool

  • damn! he's fast

  • one of the best fighters...

  • wow everyones a pro arent they? Id be happy to bet anything to the fact that Le Banner would kick the Sh*t out of everyone here, no matter how 'flawed' his technique apparently is.

  • I know right,I laugh at how idiots talk about his flaws yet he is the one with professional fights....

  • yeah, if you don't you kinda put a little pressure on your longues and you get exhausted much faster, if you do it you control your breathing better thus your stamina :)

  • Jerome le banner more than 110kg and incredible fast..

  • I would hate to be the one getting kicked by the guy. His legs are like tree trunks!

  • win or die . . that's his style

Shown not to be very smart fighter in the past . .

    I like him doe . .

  • I like his aggressiveness, power, style, training. He was my idol for a long time.

But I miss the younger Jerome. He is still great, but it really shows that he is no longer able to do what he could do 10 years ago. The broken elbow always comes back...

  • killer...

  • love this guy..

  • Przechujjjj!!!!!

  • respect!!!!!!!a real fighter!!!!!!!!

  • One badass right there!

  • i like the sounds he makes, he sounds like a machine lol

  • Le Banner is great,10x for the video man

  • le banner must destroy bonjasky karaev and aerts and win his firts crown

  • jerome jerome jerome!!!!!

  • I thought he would be one helluva tough fighter when I saw him in K1 but he could do nothing. Comperatively speaking of course.

  • I can't wait for the fight against Remy Bonjasky!!!

  • geronimo fan 4 ever!

  • i don't favor LeBanner, but this guy is bad ass. i remember watching don frye fight LeBanner...why?

  • hehe neat

omfg lol that's so funny!!! mp

  • Brule Lee was a martial artist in first place not a actor but your right about it people talking of anything anytime

  • Comment removed

  • OMG this is scary shit. if a fot this guy i would take this fight to the ground so fast!

  • A 120kg muay thai machine that can punch, kick, elbow, and knee.

I think I would just sit on my ass and start crying if I ever piss a guy like JLB off.

  • Ali CLD'VE beaten Tyson. Even Frasier could've crushed Tyson. Notice I said "could", not "would". There are too many factors involved.. mood, boxer's form on the fight day itself, etc. People make mistakes. The two legends came back at way past prime age to regain titles. True, Tyson was young when he won, but he wasn't that old either when he was knocked down by not-that-great title holders - and never returned.

  • in the end of this video, jerome lee banner seems to he´s gonna wrap his hand, you should put that vid my friend, i know i lot of people, me included, would like to see it. chest and advice, keep it up!

  • He wraps them really fast, with no explanation.

  • tyson vs le Banner in a regular boxing match??

Who cares? It's like as if I would say : Carl Lewis would defeat Le Banner in 100 meter running race. Well ok. And so what?

  • I have watched all of tysons fights read all his books and watched all his dvds.

I believe he is the the greatest heavy weight of all time.

But only a fucking full would believe he could beat jerome le banner in a fight.

  • I disagree Raoh. He was unique. He lacked the ability to adapt and beat guys who fought him and had figured out his style. And he never came back from a beating to overcome adversity. Which i think is the hallmark of a great champion. All the greats were able to come back and overcome their opponents who were at one point in the fight dominating them. Ali, Dempsey, Foreman, Marciano, Louis all cameback from being behind to win. Tyson never fought a true war. He was a bully. And a tough one too!

  • Even ali said in on telly sat next to him.

A prime iron mike with cus and rooney was unbeatable in boxing.

He was a freak of nature with his speed and power and the youngest heavy champ ever?

He went down hill when that fat cunt don king ruined his life.

He was just a head hunter near the end of his career thats why lennox, evander fucking punished him.

  • Again Raoh i agree, cus and rooney were the iron behind mike. But a fighter like ali would disect him. Ali had footwork that tyson's primitive peek-a-boo style wouldn't work against. Marciano had more heart and endurance than mike ever did, liston hit harder than mike, let's face it most of mike's fight were against hopeless bums. His style was easy to interrupt and after that he became frustrated because he was not a smart adaptable fighter. He was a machine that they had programmed. Period.

  • You do know ali said tyson was better.

There is nothing ali could do to beat a prime mike maybe the roper doper but against tyson that would only kill him.

I dont see how ali could of beat tyson ever hes outclassed at everything.

Marciano and mike whats the weight difference? he would be dead he wouldnt last a round.

I know your sticking up for the old legends but nobody can beat prime mike.

Im the same with jordan and all these people saying kobes better but he aint.

    But mike is the best.

  • Raoh, jordan is king. Ali is merely being ali, very humble in his retirement. Ali had footwork, footwork wins fights, tyson couldn't hit him. He needs stationary targets. Size means nothing in fights! Dempsey beat the ever loving christ outta jess willard who was 6" taller and alsmot 65lbs heavier. He broke many bones, ribs and knocked out several of his teeth. I enjoy that debate but in truth tyson sucked. His power was amazing and the style cus had devised was brilliant. Mike is not.

  • Tyson would crush ali even if he did keep running tyson will get him in the end.

You cant compare them thats like saying wilt chamberland is better than jordan because in a season he averaged 50 points and 25 rebounds.

    EVEN ALI SAID MIKES BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

In his prime mike was to thirsty for glory to be beat by anyone because he was a thug with nothing.

Ali couldnt hurt tyson at all.

Tysons power and speed would easy win nobody in the history of heavyweights could rival mikes talent.

  • Sorry Raoh, i disagree. Tyson is a coward. He used to cry before his fights, he was terrified. He has power and speed, but he never fought anyone truly great. He got destroyed by a mediocre heavyweight named lennox. He never evolved, he never grew, he faded fast. He was a one trick pony. Ali regained the heavyweight title how many times? He says mikes better cause that's just how great muhhad is. He's humble. Mike is a clown compared to him! Ali didn't need to be told what to do, tyson did!

  • WOW WOW WOW!

Yes tyson cried before fights but only because he was scared if he got beat everyone wouldnt love him anymore like cus and rooney.

he was the youngest heavyweight champ ever because when he was young with rooney and cus he couldnt be beat no one even come close.

And when he did lose thanks to that fat troll don king he even addmitted he lost intrest in boxing because he already had greatness and fame and money. It was hunger for that what made him the champ he was!

  • He lost long before he turned pro, remember that he didn't even make the olympic team? He cried because he is so mentally fragile. He isn't great. Greatness is about rising above, over and over. Getting up from being knocked down to overcome your opponent. He never ever did that, not once! Cus was hungry, mike just did what he was told. When he didn't have someone telling or making him train, he didn't! The greats have will power and intent, without cus mike had none. He can't think for himself.

  • Don't get me wrong, tyson was a wrecker. But you are failing to grasp how amazing the others were, and that they fought against tougher opponents than mike ever did. Mike fought absolute bums for his first 22 fights. Cus and rooney knew how fragile mike's ego was. Mike is like a child, he cannot think for himself. He never thought in the ring, he was told what to do. The greats did what they did by themselves they weren't robots. Mike never cameback from anything, he just faded away!

  • Tyson trained only 8 days for the fight against buster, buster put his all into his training after his mother died. Tyson also knocked him out but got a long count.

  • yea good point man! not to mention tyson became the heavy champ of the world at 20 years old! i belive his record of being the youngest man ever to win the belt still stands to this date....

  • shhhh sshhhhhhhhhhh shhhhh shhhhhhhh

  • Fuking Southpaw

  • I like Le Banner cause he is full on in the ring. Gets KO'd every now and then but only because he loves to slug it out front on. A fighter worthy of respect.

  • Crocop is better than him

  • No...LeBanner will murder him in July if Crocop chooses to stand. Bonjasky tried to help him prepare for the Kongo fight, and said Mirko's striking is much worse that it was in K1. LeBanner has been trading punches and kicks with the elite this whole time.

  • I like cro cop, but I hope lebanner kills him.

  • awsome.. ;] more plx :D and more xD

that is what i whant to get ;)

    Respect from poland!

  • @holywarrior... boxing is no real technique, because all movements are naturaly, only punches how everybody would punch instinctiv.and jerome wins not vs. these two because of boxing, its because OF HIM

  • theres alot of technique in how to throw the punch

  • instinctively we punch with swipes and flailing arms... boxing is turning the shoulders and twisting the wrist into every punch, throwing shots off smooth power conversion using the ground as leverage.. it has to be taught, boxing is controlled agression

  • ARE YOU DELUDED?

whoever said boxing loses to all martial arts is completeley wrong. Boxing in my opinion, when used well, is the most effective.

Watch how Lebanner uses boxing techniques to beat Park and how he also beats Filho.

Boxing will always beat kicking; all a boxer needs to do is get within range and the kicker can do nothing.

Punches are also more solid because they are much faster and you rarely lose balance when punching, and the movements taught in boxing are second to none.

  • also! - they're more reliable than legs in the long run!

  • this guy speaks the truth.

for example...say your going into a muay thia match with full thia rules. But you could only use either; punches, kicks, knes or elbows and nothing else.

I'd pick punches for sure. so yeah it's really imprtant. combination of range, speed and power.

  • wrong. completely wrong.

  • i dont wanna be the shadow if he does shadow boxing!;)

  • man why is tyson still the benchmark for modern boxers. He WAS a beast twenty years ago but what about lewis or klitshko, or, seeing as lighter weight kickboxers are most prominant, wb hopkins and jones jr, i have seen mma fights where the two guys have gone stand up and a good boxer would take them apart off the ground

  • cause tyson is way better than them guys he was the peak of boxing, its all down hill from now on

  • tyson would get his ass kicked by any mma fighter, jackass

  • dont think so idiot.

    tyson was the best fighter

  • Tyson can't wrestle, can't do Jiujitsu, and refused to fight BOB SAPP under kickboxing rules. Bop SAPP sucks at kicking. That means Tyson is abysmal at best with dealing with kicks. He would get owned badly, and you're a moron if you think he could beat a kickboxer or mma fighter.

  • Tyson would KO sapp with ease. How can you bring up Tyson at the age of 40? Put it this way, you put any MMA fighter in a boxing match with Tyson it would be over in seconds. Vice versa.

  • I bring up Tyson because someone said he would beat kickboxers in a kickboxing match. He wouldn't even fight Bob Sapp in kickboxing, and Sapp can barely lift his legs off the ground to kick worth a damn. That means Tyson is afraid of Sapp's pathetic kicking ability, and he would be absolutely owned by anyone who could through a decent le
