Hah. That horrible mosquito line really deserved some mocking. Smallville actors have to deliver some cringe-worthy lines sometimes, the poor dears. Rosenbaum used to get a lot of them.

Here this character spends two years trapped and surviving in the wild with no human contact and little hope, an experience which profoundly changes who he is, and the writer makes him whine about mosquitos and the weather like a tourist? Oy.

That's just lazy writing.
