If you've ever given your heart and soul to someone, and then been cast away. If you've ever laid everything on the line and been completely ignored. If you've ever been replaced, rejected, or removed. If you've ever been frustrated, angry, and bitter at having your hopes and dreams crushed, and left feeling all alone in this cold ugly world, then you know this song is not just a song, it's a poem about the abandonment of your soul in a night with no hope of dawn.
que boludo yo por muchos años tuve este tema pero me avia bajado backing track ya me paresia raro y hace poco lei q dice justamente el tema q tengo backing track -.- recien me vengo a enterar
I love this song. Wow I haven't heard him play this in concert. What a shame. If anyone has a video clip of Joe playing this song, please send it my way. I would greatly appreciate it. :)
My all-time fav Satch song/solo...Power,grace,emotion...true talent shining thru without having to play a bazillion notes, letting good taste and phrasing do the talkin'
Man's got mad skills and such a diverse, endless range...truly one of the greats.
So glad joe is not one of those strung out addicts, hopefully he will be with us for a very long time....we are so lucky to be alive while this incredible talent is making the best music in the world...whats so bad is his music isnt appreciated as much as the pop crap we hear everyday
Its both a blessing and a curse, because I am glad that not many people (especially those pop-tards and the commercial music humpers and basically lame hipsters) know Saint Joe's music. Be comforted by the fact that the true believers do know him and appreciate his music, all those other people just can't comprehend his genius.
@jayme1992 aye i haven't heard of any of those artists/bands but i'll go check them out. and who the fuck is buckethead, and what kind of a fucking name... i guess i better find that out for myself as well.
@berakas311 Some fast playing IS nothing but a circus act. But this solo has feeling in it. The whole point is I can run up and down a scale at massive speed, but it takes real skill and real talent and practise to make is sound this good. Understand now? Or am I wasting my time trying to explain the most basic point to you...
@WolfieTed What your trying to say is, it takes practise to become melodic, yes it does but the feeling has to be there first otherwise your pissing in the wind
People say that Jason Becker, Steve Vai, and John Petrucci are amazing. They are; in fact they're some of my favorite guitarists, but they lack the feeling that Satriani can put into his guitar while still wowing us with technique.
