  • I still can't play it without sheetmusic... Congratulation!

  • Man so blessed !!!

  • Bravo!

  • damn it star playing this song like about a month a i cant make exact like you do it seems that i have a long way to learn how much do you take to learn that?

  • @CHULOMACHINE

I don't remember, but I had been playing this song about a year before this video. keep going...you will get it.

  • Well done matey, Im learning it now, nice peice mate.....

  • beautiful,

it took me 6 month to practice hernecia latina, finally i gave up.

it made me hate playing guitar.

    you play so well dude.

    very impressive

  • @amirhma I get that feeling when I choose a composition to learn which is too difficult for my level of playing, over the years I've learned to pick music that is pushing me just enough without being impossible for me to play.

    don't quit!

  • i really enjoyed it - thx

  • great!!

  • I like this! Thank you!

  • @ornelam

thanks for watching, I hope you take the time to wathc some of my newer vids also

  • Realmente bien interpretada!! estoy empezando con la guitarra, llevo apenas unos meses y poco a poco algo va sonando, sin duda, éste es uno de los vídeos que más me motiva, fabuloso. Enhorabuena

  • Man you play really well!

  • great sound... what is the name of your guitar's maker?

  • so nice, hope someone could teach me..

  • Great performance man!! How long did it take you to learn the whole song?

  • I don't remember exactly, but I had been playing this composition as part of my repertoire for about a year before recording this video.

I think it's important to learn songs that add to your vocabulary from a rhythmic as well as melodic perspective. those songs take the longest to learn and you have to be patient. flamenco being an improvised art - you will find that learning this composition will help you in the future with Guajiras, Alegrias en LA, and Rumbas.

  • gran interpretacion! alguien que m pueda pasar la tablatura o la partitura?? se lo agradeceria!

  • perfect !

  • i like this version, he doesnt forget what rumba is...a dance like rythm, most of the other version dont consider that!!!

  • Nice Job. Most versions here are way too fast. Faster isn't necesarily better.

  • Love this piece! also the alegrias and the colombiana from paco peñas toques flamencos.

It is my goal for now to someday playing these:P

  • Try it at ultimate-guitar, searching for "Latina" and youl find a GP4 Tab for the song ;)

  • Great! Any idea where might find tabs? (free or not?)

  • Try hersoveela's channel, on his website he has tons of free tabs for this although you may have to look through a lot, it's there. A very helpful guy :).

  • Hola, donde puedo conseguir la partitura o algun video mas lento para aprenderlo. Gracias,

  • demasiado rapido, pero el punteo te sale muy bien¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Ole! Very well played

  • Very very nice job.

    Excellente!

  • I still don't understand how someone could have rated this less then 5 stars. This is the best one on Youtube. I hope all is good. How's the duo coming along? I'd love to see some more vids from you.

    J

  • thanks, depends on your level of playing. At the high-end, Juan Serrano now lives in FL. Talk to "rumbaking" on youtube to find out more. besides that, it's always a good idea to have various books laying around and finally youtube has some good lessons. good luck.

  • Clean & clear!!

Where did you take classes? I live in Florida and I have no idea who teaches flamenco around here.

    Thanks!

  • This is absolutely beautiful, I hope one day I'll be able to play like this!

Out of curiousity, how long have you been playing?

  • thanks, I started flamenco guitar 6 years ago, before that I was a drummer.

  • Wonderful rendition, Bravo!

Your control and rythm are fantastic, easily the nicest version of this piece on youtube!

  • Great version. I like your thumb work. It seems to play these difficult passages so effortlessly.

    Sal Bonavita

  • nicely played

  • really nice one... i'm amazed

  • Good job!!! Did you get a new blanca?

  • Hi 2of6.

I was lucky to find this blanca at a local store. It is a student model blanca made in 1992 in Seville. Due to the age, it sounds better than most student guitars for the price. It is one of those guitars you can take to a party and not worry about scratches and bumps while drinking:))

  • Great piece of work. I searched for paco playing it on video but your would be my 2nd choice:)..great piece:)

  • haha, thanks. I don't think there is a video of Paco Pena playing this....unfortunately.

  • Excellent!! Thank you for posting this piece again. :)

  • :) you are welcome....we can always do better but need to put our selves out there as much as possible.

  • Awesome piece of work
