Beautiful decoration... somebody asked "why would they decorate a standard grade movement?" UHHH... Because it LOOKS NICE! Why would they decorate a chinese no-name movement in a watch? To make it look nice. That is why you decorate things. (It just won't make a chinese watch swiss or a standard spring a top spring... get it? I have some very plain 2824 watches with top level components in the movement (making it the top grade) and standard 2824 with lots of decoration.... don't assume
@PUNISHERUltra It is an Elabore grade; you can recognize in the video the use of an incabloc shock system, instead of the etachoc of the standard grade.
Very nice. I have a Longines Legend Diver, which is like this watch's granddaddy. It' s got the same movement so seeing this made me feel real good about my LLD.
Thanks for the video !!! I am buying this model next week !!! I am surprised that the movement has perle docoration !!! Do u know which grade of 2824-2 it is ? I thought it was the standart grade.
It's a 5 position double calibrated(Longines calibrates again) top grade 2824/2.

IN THIS VIDEO ALONE, SOME SAY IT IS 'TOP', SOME SAY IT IS 'ELABORE' AND SOME SAY IT IS 'STANDARD' GRADE.
DOES ANYONE REALLY KNOW FOR SURE?

I don't get it why Longines decorates a standard movement. The balance wheel is a nickel one....

@moonshade0227 THAT'S BECAUSE IT IS NOT A 'STANDARD' GRADE.
IT IS AT LEAST ELABORE GRADE.

same movement as a tissot le locle half the price, and to be honest, I prefer the look of the Tissot in black
