  • Is this a joke, whith all that noise and manual reloading. You must be kidding me))))

  • @dshupac What would you prefer. It's one of the best tank designs in the world...

  • This noisy piece of shit is supposed to be your "best tank in the world " ?

this is the best tank in the world : watch?v=DPRTrA2qWOs

  • @santanderino91 The noise like he said is the hydraulics, and yes this tank could annihilate the frenchies tank lol unquestioned

  • @wowgamer14 : And the other way round, too. I think they're on the same level, except that the Abrams has been tested on the front far more.

  • @oOCrossroadsOo The Abrams is most heavily armored in the front, and the left side is better then the right

  • @wowgamer14 : Really ? So Abrams tanks must only expose their front/left side when engaging enemy tanks ?

  • @oOCrossroadsOo Dont get me wrong but the abrams is well armored all around but the front is the thickest and the left has to have thicker because of the ammo stored int he hull

  • @wowgamer14 Oh ok that makes sense. Anyway do you really think any of the MBTs the western countries have is superior to another ? I don't think so, and the question should not even be asked because we're allies anyway. The Abrams will never shoot any Frenchie tank... unless the guys inside are not French. :)

  • @oOCrossroadsOo I think some are focus on the different ways the countries operates, defensive or offensive. the abrams is more offensive then defensive, but yea they are generally equal.

  • @wowgamer14 : Yeah of course they fit the doctrine of the country using it. I don't know if the Leclerc is more offensive or defensive. But I may know one day, though. If my studies don't lead me anywhere I might join the army and more especially the armored cavalry. :)

  • that whining sound could probably be heard for miles....they might wanna tone it down a bit

  • @Roksonixx You can only hear the whining sound inside the turret, all your hear outside is the 1500HP turbine engine and exhaust, and yes it is very loud. The Abrams wasn't built for stealth, it's made for superior firepower. The real military isn't all special forces, we go in loud and strong.

  • leopards ftw...

  • does the Hydrolic noise ever get annoying? thinking about joining up and getting in a Tank myself.

  • @jetsr Yes and know. With your CVC helmet it, the headphones drown out most of the noise.

  • woah you don't want to be in the way of the breech during recoil!

  • Is that hydraulics noise as loud as it seems on this video? It is always making that noise or was something special happening?

Seems like that noise would drive the crew nuts eventually.

  • So is the sound of hydraulics always that annoying? Haha. Like anytime you're moving the tube or turret, or whatever the proper term is.

Seems like that would get old really fast, or maybe you get used to it, or ear protection helps.

  • @Mattizfatt The headsets are noise-cancelling which takes out the majority of the sound. It's still there a bit, but usually the coms break it up enough where you dont notice it as much.

  • damn, bet those motherfuckers get some hot in the desert.

  • @leathery420 IF they have the NBC system working properly they're not too bad.

  • That hydraulic whine and track squeak are why all of us Tankers are deaf.

  • LOL Soviet tanks are more silent then this shit

  • Sabot can't penetrate the front armor of a T-90

  • @SMGJohn The new M829A3 APFSDS was designed specifically for dealing with T-90's without Kontakt-5 reactive armor and with ;) Don't think Abrams crews will have any trouble dealing with them :P

  • @Khristophoros1001 Well, you can fap all you want about your M1A2 Abrams. But in fact they are no match for real tank warfare.

  • @SMGJohn How exactly are they no match for real tank warfare?... They were used twice against Iraq and excelled against Iraqi armor. What do you know of tank warfare? Have you studied it? Do you know what tactics to use against an opponent with more armor then you're side? Have you even read anything about tank warfare? Guess not....

  • @Khristophoros1001 LOL, you mean the M1A1 successfully repelled museum equipment? Congratulations. It's like saying T-90 facing a bunch of outdated M46 Pattons and killed them all and now T-90 is worlds best tanks because it killed Museum equipment. Sir you are a tool and a big inbreed imbecile

  • @SMGJohn The fact is that the Abrams have been used against tanks and the T-90 haven't.... Yes Iraq had old crap, but tank warfare isn't all about the tank. The Germans showed that during the Invasion of France and the USSR, they had more tanks and tanks that were more heavily armored then their German equivalent but the Germans defeated them because of great tactics and high maneuverability. The Americans used excellent tactics during the first Gulf war... Tanks isn't everything!

  • @Khristophoros1001 The Iraq tactics where poor in that time. Germans where known for their tactics but America is not a nation to relay on tactics. However America still uses caution and firepower tactics as their main war tactics

  • @SMGJohn They used Blitzkrieg tactics during the Iraq wars... Every historian and researcher can agree to that! Shock and Awe is the same as Heinz Guderian's Blitzkrieg tactics. The first Gulf war was a perfect campaign with huge success. With minimal losses for the coalition and huge casualties for the Iraqis. The Americans use superior weaponry together with good tactics. I can agree that the Iraqis weren't the biggest challenge.

  • @Khristophoros1001 Yes they used something similar because America is known to copy everything from the Germans.

  • @SMGJohn Usually the best idea... You learn from the best, all western nations has learned something from the Germans. There is no point in starting from scratch if you can learn from someone who has already perfected something. There is no shame in learning from the best!

  • @SMGJohn Oh, that's true especially liquid fuel rockets, the electric car, airplanes, the internet, the transistor and integrated circuit....

  • @dieselscience The internet was mainly developed troughout Europe in cooperation with many nations specially Sweden which is the biggest contributer to the internet. All the other stuff was invented fairly in Europe. America has never really invented something in the first place

  • @SMGJohn Wrong. Whoever tried to teach you history failed.

  • @dieselscience Wrong? Oh I didn't see you trying to prove me wrong so that means your wrong all along right?

  • @SMGJohn I didn't have to prove anything that history already hasn't - now run along, little troll.

  • @dieselscience What history? Your American history? Or our true to fact History?

There are two kinds of history in this world. The one written by the victors, and the one written by the survivors

  • @SMGJohn I guess you never heard of Robert Goddard, DARPA and Bell Labs? OR were those all lies, too?especially since Werner von Braun admitted himself he got his ideas from pre-war American research. Run along little troll.

  • @dieselscience Rockets? What? Konstantin Tsiolkovsky was the first guy to even propose space travels and liquied fuel or whatever. So you failed at rocket conversation, now while you seems to still have to learn what troll means you just made a huge idiotic inbreed imbecile out of yourself

  • @SMGJohn WRONG! "Propose" is NOT the same as "invent." BESIDES the CHINESE were 700 years BEFORE Tsiolkovski AND Robert Goddard INVENTED LIQUID FUEL ROCKETS-period. Bell labs in New Jersey invented BOTH the transistor and integrated circuit, so run along little lying troll.

  • @dieselscience transistor was invented by a Canadian fool. LOL you stupid Americans, all you do is just take a patent and claim your the first inventor but all you are is failures. And integrated circuits was invented by Werner Jacobi which filled the first patent fool he worked for Siemens AG.

Pedro Paulet made the first Liquid fuel Rocket. So he is the inventor of it but Tsiolkovski is notable for coming up with the idea. Without this man we still be flying propell powered airplanes

    You lost

  • @SMGJohn No, he is correct - the transistor and integrated circuit were invented at Bell Laboratories in New Jersey, USA. ALL OTHER ATTEMPTS DID NOT FUNCTION AS INTENDED, therefore, THEY DID NOT MATTER! Look up Shockley and Pearson. That is simple, plain FACT and I get paid LOTS of money to know things like this. You can sit in your mother's basement and say anything you wish but anyone who can read will spot you for the troll you are.

  • @DrMotorDude So, your actually trying to suggest that anything improved and works properly is regarded as invented? No fail. I already stated who made the transistor and integrated circuit. If you can't deal with the fact child then get the fuck out of here. I am not interrested writting 6000 words about who the fuck invented this and that in order to slap you in your face about Americans inventing life itself.

Your seriously retarded. Sorry but I live in a better house then you ever will n00b

  • @SMGJohn You have some serious character flaw issues.

  • @DrMotorDude Good for me then. Anything else?

  • @SMGJohn No, troll is the correct term for you.

  • @DrMotorDude Troll who beats the shit out of inbreed Americans with facts? Woah, your definition of a troll is just as wild as your braincells are.

  • @SMGJohn Erm...no. The US invented the internet. Sorry to burst your bubble. Europeans invented the world-wide-web. The internet and world-wide-web are not interchangeable. It's is a service(one of many) ON the internet.

  • @SMGJohn The newer T-72s also went up against older m-60's and got their asses kicked during the gulf war..

  • @screecwe LOL, don't lie to yourself. You lost hundreds of M60 against the T-72E and you also lost many bradly.

  • @SMGJohn It's good to see your version of "facts" come directly out of your ass. There was only one M-60 lost in the gulf war to enemy fire, and it was simply damaged. The crew was fine. The Bradleys(which isnt a tank so I dont know why you are comparing them. Should I compare the M1A1 against a BMP?) only lost 3 to enemy fire. So please, keep fabricating your "facts" to base your entire argument on.

  • @screecwe One? I think you forgot the 000 behind it. It was actually OVER 1000 M60 lost against ONE Soviet T-17 Tankette firing three 2mm armor piercing rounds. You also lost 3000 Bradlies against Saddam Bin Laden with a toast in his hand and a sword in the other. He managed to chop every 3000 IFV in half and eat his toast.

  • @SMGJohn Your comment is so full of stupid, I have to commend you. To be able to cram that much stupid into 500 characters or less is truly an accomplishment. There should be some sort of stupid Olympics to give a greater platform for you to put your stupid on display to the masses and surely win gold medals in multiple events. Hats off to you and your overwhelming command of the ability to be so incredibly stupid.

  • @screecwe if there was a stupid Olympic I think you hit the record every time there was Olympic. Peace out kid, I am taking my magic umbrela and burning some Abrams with my flamethrower because the armor is of paper.

    Trolololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololo

  • That sound must get a little annoying. Or it might keep you awake.

  • That sound must get a little annoying.

  • 1st Tank Bn. here. God I hated that noise. Glad I was able to move over to scouts, probably saved a good deal of my hearing.

  • Rheinmetall Gun :)

  • switch off fuckin siren

  • @Skyarkhangel

That's not a siren; it's a combination of the turbine engine and the tank's hydraulics being caught on the open mic(rophones) of the crew. But yes, it is annoying. Good thing us tankers wear ear protection.

    Eh? Speak up!

  • do you die from getting hit by the breach

  • @delavega92 no not really although you can i knew a guy that got his head caught in a breach blowback he had serious problems for a while but didnt get permanently injured

  • one = on - now = know I saw it to late and i'm Belgian.

  • Hydraulic pumps arent so reliable ! They sometimes fail and need a while to load up when it's bin used alot. You cant shut off the engine. Modern tanks can because there electric. A second engine provide electricity so every electronic system still works. It's more stealthy, fuel efficient and it's much longer operational. It cant drive one it but it's very quickly switched to the main engine you only has to push 1 button. I almost now for sure that the M1A2 has this. ;-)

  • Tank rounds are always with a shellcase. This combustible shellcase is used for artillery. Not mobile artillery like the PZH2000 or M109a6 because the high pressure. I didn't know that the M1a1 still use hydraulics ? Many modern tanks use a electric turret. The last version that used hydraulic pumps was the leopard 2a4. The leopard 2a5, 2a6 and 2a7 are all electric with generators.

  • @glendelio not so. m829 ke rounds and m830 heat rounds have semi-combustible casings that leave only a smallish cap. no brass. dunno bout german or other leo2 rounds but i'd be surprised if they were any different

  • Lol yeah totally. That whine is 100% authentic . the brain learns to tune it out after a while. If someone says its not real, theyve never been in an abrams.

  • do they sleep n their?

  • have you ever been hit while inside the tank???

  • What happens to the old shell casing? Every time I see one of these videos the loader doesn't take the old casing out before he puts in a new round.

  • @HunterKiller87 The case is combustable and burns away when the round goes off. All that's left is the base and primer called the "aft-cap" which is automatically ejected to the floor. The part of the breach that drops at the end of the vid deflects the aft-cap to the floor.

  • @Twigbutt :0 i want an aft-cap : D

  • @Twigbutt aaah someone who knows what an aft-cap is where were u stationed??

  • @Twigbutt WHAT?!?!??!?! i never knew that! That's crazy awesome!

  • @Twigbutt why dont they make the shell rim fire that way the whole thing burns away

  • @Blueatchley12 Because rimfire would not reliably and consistently ignite 7.9 kg of propellant at the extreme level of flame propagation that is required here.

  • @HunterKiller87 it is fiberglass like and gets blasted apart and gets sent down range.

  • @HunterKiller87 The 105mm on the MGS strykers still uses these, but now the 120 only thing that comes out it the aft cap which comes out automatically. not enough room to store the shells

  • as an s2 guy in the us army, i say the tank could beat the bradley with no problem. nothing against the infantry, the arbrams is just better

  • @nickyG190 You really seem like your in the army.

  • as an s2 guy in the us army, i say the tank could beat the bradley with no problem. nothing against the infantry, the arbrams is just better

  • Es dauert so-o-o-o lange!!! Kann man in dieser Zeit den Panzert sowol zerstören_ als auch vernichten!!!

  • @NObsNbart yeah, that Tankerc guy is obviously one of the worst. He just messaged me to tell me that another of my videos is bullshit because the computer on the M1 boresights and does all the math on the tank for you. According to him, you don't need to boresight your coax machine gun because the computer does it already.... oh, how I wish that my tank could boresight itself, but that's obviously not possible. I'm afraid that even in 2011, you still have to zero it yourself.

  • Holy dogshit this environment is fucking dangerous!!

  • Jesus Christ the fuckin hydros are loud. I'd be hearing that shit in my head forever.

  • that breechblock dont f-- around.. it will kill your ass !!

  • Very impressive, Twigs. I have a target prctice discarding sabot round sitting in my collection. The case is fiberglass but the dart with cone stabilizer and the base are the real thing. I cannot possibly imagine what it must be like to hear/feel one of these going off right next to me. I also have a M-831 TP-T projectile with fins. What a beast! You manhandle these? Thank you for your military service. You rank higher in my book than any politician, movie star, even Superman.

  • I want to be a tank crewman but I doubt I'll get it :(

  • Why is there so much noise inside that tank? Who can sleep through all that racket?

  • От такого гула можно чёкнутся,и это крутая американская техника-бу га га )))

    Срам!

  • why is it in every tank ive ever been in theirs always a loud ringing.

  • So this is why tank crews wear head set comms even if they're less than 5 feet of each other.

Helicopters/air planes I understood, but I always wondered why a tank until now lol.

  • Here's some cool stuff

    T-72 watch?v=OiKqHeZHsBY

    T-80 watch?v=lybwV2tT6vo

  • I dare you to shoot that with no ear protection. As a matter of fact i double dog dare you!

  • That whining noise is the Hyrdaulic pump. You would much rather hear that noise, then manually traverse the turret. It has 2 traversing modes, but it still is a work out on your arm.

  • That noise is the hydraulics...

  • What is this noise sound about?

  • He dosnt have his guards in place. He is going lose his arm like that.

  • That high frequency sound all the time - what's that? Turbine?

  • You Army turds are all backwards. Back to tank school you go.

  • a King Tiger would smash your stupid tank to pieces and you would all be peeing and pooing yourselves inside your mobile latrine

  • @PJ3love thats funny

  • @PJ3love lol You're a dumbass, It's big, that's about it. It's 88mm wouldn't even penetrate. Go back to playing computer games.

  • @PJ3love Oh god I sincerely hope you're not referring to the "Cojone Eh" tank. If you are, read a book. You can talk ifs and buts all you want. Yeah sure they can shoot the gun tube and destroy that, they can hit the mantle which is still a very small target and they can hit the sights. But really, in a real tank battle WW2 tanks wouldn't stand a chance. Assuming we didn't shoot them at max range like we train to. Which is twice the max range of the tiger. All odds are stacked against it.

  • @PJ3love I love the Tigers and King Tigers as much as the next tank enthusiast. But it's just not realistic to think they stand a chance these days.

  • @PJ3love Whatever REMF wannabe. When you get done playing computer games, let me know.

  • I think that high-pitched hydraulic whining sound wold drive me crazy in about 12 minutes

  • T-80U inside, M1A1's opponent

    watch?v=t53giOyZRxs

0:24 driver: "A fuckin hit!" ... commander: "Go on, next! Reload the next, sucker! Punt it!" 0:47 gunner: "Fuck yeaaaaaa!"

  • damn i have to say i wish we had a1's here in fort bliss the v2 seps are problematic as hell

  • I love this video! That's a 100 point engagement, with no crew cuts.

  • I love this video! That's a 100 point engagement, with no crew cuts.

  • Thinking about choosing 1812 as my MoS but that constant buzzing sound would drive me nuts lol

  • @malib0osted If you want this to be your MOS. The sound is the least of your worries.

  • did you kill him?

  • whats that anoying noise !!! ???

  • @asbeitemu

its your mum screaming for help while i am fucking her

  • @Timeline15 help! get this tiny peckered idiot off me and find me someone with a dick bigger than acorn. Help!

  • is it a rheinmetall canon l45?

  • @TheWarpig88 Rheinmetall L44, same as the Leo 2. There is an updated L55 used in Leo 2 A5s and above.

  • @Twigbutt The gun is the american M256. Nothing else than a license production of the L44 by Rheinmetall but with some modifications (the breech for example).

  • @TheWarpig88 its called american m256 but its same as 144

  • Comment removed

  • wow you dont want that backblast to hit you :O

  • love you tankers doesnt matter from what country or side you guys have balls of steel !

  • Damn, that whine of the turret would drive me insane.

  • you have a helmet called a cvc it blocks most of that noise out

  • How do you not kill yourself with that noise?

  • Man, I thought the Hydraulics inside a KC10 were loud.

  • What is that whine you can hear all of time? Is it the engine because I know its a turbine engine

  • whats that anoying sound ??

  • @jonnibiscuit Fake???

    Fucking moron.

  • how come its going "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeebaaaaaaaaaangggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep"?

  • @unclepoepoe the reason it makes that noise is because the engine is rite bye it and the engine is a jet turbine , plus the hydrolics on the turrent

  • It's very load due to the gyroscopes inside the tank, which makes the turret steady while the tank's body is bumping. The M1's engine is loud too, but between the crew and the engine, there's a very thich wall, so, you can't almost hear the engine.

  • Is it possible to stand behind the thing that pushed back a foot after it shot?

I'd imagine that could seriously fuck something up if it got hit by it huh?

  • I absolutely love the sound of that AGT-1500. Sexiest MBT in the world. I love the Abrams. A pain in the ass to maintain, but an absolute killing machine when taken care of. Fucking hooah. Respect to all you 19K's outthere! :)

  • OMG I LOVE THAT SOUND! No sarcasm here. I love EVERYTHING about that tank. Its an engineering marvel!

  • way to not have your tc's shoulder gaurd in place, Safety nogo

  • @apocalypse1812 lol, I was thinking the same thing

  • caramba que pancada hahaha por pouco nao arranca o braço do cara que esta olhando

  • how does a sabot kill a tank? what are the killing mechanisms to the round?

  • @boobtuber06

Well you can think of a needle or arrow like projectil which pierces the enemy Tank.

<-------------------<< looks kind of that xD

  • @boobtuber06 Its called Kinetic Energy, just speed X mass...

10 pound projectile, traveling at 1800 meters per second...

and dont forget it is made of depleted uranium, wich is more dense than other metal that is used in armor.

  • @apocalypse1812 yea, i know all about how it comprimises the armor. I want to know what it does to actually KILL the tank:making holes in armor doesn't necessarily stop a 40 ton MBT.

  • @boobtuber06 Once the incredibly fast moving piece of metal gets through the armor it's in a confined space with a bunch of squishy meatbags. Without the meatbags, the tank can't function.

  • @apocalypse1812 "just speed X mass..." Nitpick: velocityxmass is momentum. Kinetic energy is 0.5xmassxvelocity^2. ;)

  • @boobtuber06 Once the sabot penetrates the armor, it causes spalling inside the tank killing the crew and setting off the ammo. Russian built tanks like the T-72 had the ammo stored facing up for the auto loader around the turret ring, which is why the turrets always blew off. This plus over pressure from the penetration makes for a very bad day inside.

  • @Twigbutt Can the overpressure from the penetration alone flip the turret?

  • @Twigbutt What would happen to the crew if you shoot that sabot at another M1?

  • @ba3cool There was an incident in the first Gulf war where an M1A1 got stuck and couldn't be towed out. The decision was made to destroy it. Of course another M1 was sent in to do the deed- and try as it might with firing it's ordinance to blow it to smithereens. Result: Fail!

  • @boobtuber06 Depleted Uranium is pyrophoric. It ignites from the friction and you have molten fragments flying around inside the tank.

  • @boobtuber06 The sabot is a piece of material that keeps the penetrator round in place. the penetrator round is this narrow, 10 pound piece of spent uranium with a point, super dense and its soft metal, so it just cuts through armor like a hot knife through butter.

  • thanks for putting this video up. I always assumed the inside of a tank to be insulated from most sounds. I never knew it was so loud inside like this.

  • @joscobo you have to get your ears checked like every 6 months, or atleast seemed like that often. It's not that loud though, those helmets cancel out quite a bit of the noise.

  • at 0:30 way to fucking close for comfort

  • sadly, all types of military videos = troll heaven.

  • Sgt conklin where are bro? 1st cav 2-12 cav 1991-1993

  • FUCK ME that thing that fell back would brake your arm

  • Yeesh. I was on an M60A2, The accumulator would build pressure, then cut off. That continuous noise would drive me crazy.

  • how much a beast like this tank would cost?

  • t 80-uk and t 80-ud and t-90 are currently the best tanks in the world...any questions? cause i have a lot of explanations

  • @aleksandarfriscic Yeah,I have a question. If T 90 is the best tank in the world does that make the Leopard2a5 what, the best tank in the universe?

  • @locoawise no...you watched that in discovery, right? ha ha ...give me one reasons leo2a5 should be the best....btw...there is a6...you are just stupid....

  • @aleksandarfriscic Right,russians are the best and I am stupid...Asshoe

  • @locoawise I just asked you WHY is leo2a6 best??? just one reason

  • @aleksandarfriscic You came to say T 90 is the best. Now,the only times I heard that was from some russian who think the USSR is not over. Now,in discovery chanel, the super machine series once showed the best tank in their opinion: M1 Abram. So u should stfu.I'm no expert in tanks, only everybody, including the cocky americans, say the leopard is the bets. Now,if u motherfucking expert, knows it better, then perhaps u could just explain yourself, why the T 90 is so damn spetacular!!

  • @locoawise hahahahah....experts....you mean "american experts"...and i just love arguing with americans cause you are god damn stupid! ...ok..abrams have gun range 3600m wich is great...but t-90 have 5500m range...and 7000m reflex ATGM...t-90 is lighter (faster,MUCH more maneuverable and minor chances to suck in mud or something),its wider so it is easier to corner, its alot lower,so it is a smaller target, and it have Shtora II and Arena systems....read next comment for explanation....

  • @aleksandarfriscic The M1 does not have a limited range. If you can see it, then you can shoot it as fa
