we are doing a play at school called free to be you and me and i play as earl in glad to have like you, and all the moves you did are similar to what i have to dance to.
@SamuelTecun That's awesome! It's kind of cool because when I learned this song, I was taught different dance moves and I just improvised for this video. =)
OMFG I love this song my music teacher who I loved so much had us sing this when I was little <3 I have been looking for this song I had forgot the title but i remembered the ooeey goey chocolate part and thats how I found it :D
This is such an awesome song! I still have the free to be you and me cassette tape that I had when I was little. It's awesome to see that so many other people like this song so much!
you have to promise yourself that you won't take this video down. i was a kid (under) 11 yrs old) when i first heard this and now i'm in my mid 40's. i wish that i had a video of my brothers and sister and i dancing and singing to this album. i'd give just about anything.
I learned this song in the 2nd grade at a school called Chancellor Ave in Newark Newjersey. Our music teacher used to sing it to us. Im 45 years old now. Great memories!
God, I loved this music. My teacher played it for me when we were in Kindergarten. I feel like she was responsible for me growing up so open-minded. This was such a great Gender Equality compliation.
This song is on the Free To Be You and Me album....it is a kids album and when I grew up in the 70's I listened to this song on a LP record ALL the time!
Maan, this song is CATCHY! Just about, if not more catchy, than William's Doll. Very nicely lipsync'd! You're one of the only people I've seen that has been able to lipsync without there being all this disgusting loads of noise in the background! Favorited and fived!
Yes, thanks for posting your video. It is very sweet. I was eight years old when I first got this record in 1974. I'm 45 now and still love it.
