Great song, great performer (I live in NOLA and have seen her 100's of times-literally) and this is almost always her encore song, but the original was Jackie De Shannon(1961?) Irma recorded it later(1962 or 1963 ?) But everyone I know considers this the best version. She is royalty in this town and still smokes the house when she plays.
